Worked great!
This was exactly what I needed to install a solar shade with a 3/4 in thick framing where I only had a recessed brick. This shade is not going anywhere! These clips are pretty tough. Once they are in place that’s where they intend to stay.

Better to "HAVE THAN WANT"!!
I've purchased these elsewhere in the past and they are VERY SIMPLE to use. I'm in Florida, you know, THAT PLACE where Hurricanes tend to visit and having wood pre-cut for my windows and when there's trouble ALL it takes is to easily attach these to the wood sides, push them in place, and hope I don't have any Tornadoes - THEY don't care about anything protecting anywhere!!!I'm glad I purchased these BEFORE any trouble -- you should too. The package can fit in your hand so it's no "big deal" to have - like other products that are troublesome and take up space.

Not as described...says it's a 2 pack and black but it's neither......
This is probably a good product but the description is misleading... It says it's a two pack but it's not. It's only one pack........

Surprise! Hurricane Sally is coming.
There was a tropical storm in the Gulf that was supposed to go somewhere else, but we used the hurricane clips to put up plywood anyway. Ended up that the storm became Hurricane Sally and the East eye wall went right over us. The hurricane clips all held.

Not Miami Dade spec
I put these into a glass block window and wind mitigation inspector had me install threaded anchors and corrugated aluminum panel, in place for wind insurance discount. One note, my front door opens inward and blowing rain sometimes flows down door through seal in foyer. I made a plywood panel and these clips to cover front door from outside.

Simple wish this item was available for the many storms in the last 20 years.Amozon pricing is a whole lot less than the big home improvement stores.
