Good footwear for a Decent Price [Nortiv 8 / Brown]
These are great. They have been my main footwear for approaching 15 months now. Still going strong - nothing has fallen off or broken - eyelets, stitching coming undone, etc.Very comfortable for daily use and long walks. Have not tried them sufficiently in the open country to verify their durability regarding this, but they certainly stand up to rain/wet weather in an urban environment. Never had any wet feet or socks (and I live in Scotland!). I put cheap insoles in them from the start - no blistering or abrasions to complain about after 4km + typical daily walking.Time will tell if they make it to 3 years +. I do have my doubts for that longevity, but for the price point and value: zero complaints. They have dropped in price since first buying - bought another pair (tan) for future use.

Comfortable, rugged and ready for all terrain!
I picked up the NORTIV 8 hiking boots for a recent trip to the Lake District and I’ve been incredibly impressed. From first wear, they’ve been solid performers — combining comfort, waterproofing, and great grip at a price point that’s hard to beat.Out of the box, they look smart and tough. The construction is clearly high quality, with reinforced stitching, solid metal eyelets and a durable outsole that doesn’t feel like it’s going to wear down quickly. I went for my normal size (UK 10) and the fit was spot on — roomy enough for thicker hiking socks, but still snug enough to give proper support.Comfort is excellent — there’s good ankle support without being restrictive, and the cushioned insole and tongue make long walks much easier on the feet. I’ve done multiple 10–15km hikes across mixed terrain (stone, mud, steep inclines), and they’ve kept my feet stable and blister-free.Waterproofing is also fantastic. I’ve waded through puddles, walked in heavy rain, and crossed shallow streams, and not once have my socks ended up wet. The upper dries relatively quickly too, and doesn’t stay soggy for days like some heavier boots. The sole provides excellent grip — deep lugs that bite into soft ground without clogging up too easily. I’ve had no slips even on wet rocks or muddy tracks, which is exactly what you want from a hiking boot. The only thing I’d mention is that they’re a bit heavier than lightweight trail runners — but the added weight brings durability and protection, so it’s a fair trade-off.In short, these NORTIV 8 boots are brilliant for weekend walkers, serious hikers, or just anyone who needs a tough, waterproof boot for outdoor work or leisure. I’ll definitely be buying another pair when these eventually wear out.

Very comfortable./Not Waterproof.
I was dubious about getting these but decided to try as a good price. I have a wide foot, most size 10's squeeze or pinch. Not these, realy great fit, comfortable and light. Not very waterproof though. Got caught out on the Brecon Beacons in very heavy rain. Boots were soaked in minutes, however coupled with 1000 miles socks they remained comfortable with great grip which proved usefull on Jacobs ladder which was extremelywet. Probably best to use on dry days. As you can see from the photos they took quite a battering. Even if they only last a year I would buy them again.

Boots that last
"You last purchased this item on 1 Sep 2023" how time flys, this is my personal review and was my second pair because the first pair was so comfortable, water tight, and warm, that pair were on my feet walking the dogs in the sea off the Norfolk coast just last week, they are still water tight,(sea above the second lace hole) safe footing because the sole is showing little signs of wear. I use them in all weathers, always comfortable, never too hot, never cold, a solid purchase for the price paid, hence why I bought the second pair, shown at the back in the photos

Should not be labelled waterproof
Initially these boots seemed quite good, they are light and comfortable in most respects. However quite soon I found they gave me quite a bit of pain on the top part of my toe due to where the crease is in the material of the shoe when it bends with each step. I managed somewhat to correct this by encouraging the crease to lie in a slightly different position. However the biggest problem with these boots is that they are not waterproof. In any significant rain or walking through long wet grass my socks are completely soaked through after a short period of time! They simply should not be labelled as waterproof. Customer service was quite good and I managed to get back a partial refund which is something. However it was not a full refund and I am now left in the original position of having to find another pair of boots that are actually waterproof.Update : Full refund received, customer service very good! Shame the product isn't
