Women's Elegant Mesh Contrast Bishop Sleeve Bodycon Pencil Dress

I am 5'5 3/4, 128-130 lbs, and curvy with a small waist, a bottom, and a C-cup. I usually wear small, but depending on the style and brand of clothes, I often wear medium for more comfort. I bought this dress in size Small AND Med to figure out which one fit me best. First, I tried the size Medium, thinking it might be perfect in keeping the dress from being too tight everywhere; however, it was lose around my waist, grabbed on my butt, grabbed around my chest, and was lower than desired at the sides under my arms. It is a pencil type skirt so it was narrow at the bottom with the dress having a lot of overall stretch ability and I could basically tell that if I went a size smaller, it would likely hug me in all of the correct places, as well as in the places it already hugged in the size medium. I wasn't worried about it being slightly more fit on the bottom or top parts of my body (where it hugged in the size Med) in the size Small because the material is made out of durable quality and is not see through. I'm glad I bought both sizes to then return the size that didn't fit me well. The small fit just as I thought it would, as if I took it to the seamstress to get fitted just for me. Everything grabbed me nicely in every curve. The quality of the material mixed with the type of stretch ability this dress has only aids with unwanted bulges where one might usually put underwear over (but under clothes) to try minimizing those bulges. The under arm area was nice and structured with the size small and the dress is super buttery comfortable in either size. All that said and I haven't even moved on to the the beautiful sleaves yet, lol. The sleeves are made of a comfortable soft and light sheer mesh and the flowers are intricately placed with care and they each have a glittery gold edge on them that is very subtle, which adds to the elegant and classy look of this dress. I bought this dress to wear on Valentine's day so don't have any pictures of me in it yet but I'll try to remember to update this post with a picture after V-day. As far as the wrap tie that comes with the dress goes: it's also lovely and I like how it looks best when it's tied in a bow that falls nicely in the back. This aids that clean/sharp look in the front, around the waist, and makes the back look so pretty! The tie mixed with the medium size on my body only made the lose material around my waist look worse as it caused gathering to occure. Both sizes were perfect lengths (in my opinion), with the bottom reaching under my knees when standing, allowing for more comfort when sitting, and emphasizing that gorg look of a pencil dress. The material also feels easy to clean and unlikely to fade after washing it. If you are thinking of getting this dress, get it, even if you have to get two sizes, like I did, to figure out which one fits you best. It's a great buy and I am so excited to wear it with gorgeous flowing soft curls in my hair!

Love the style of this dress. I wore this dress for my daughter's wedding and got SO MANY compliments! I ordered a SM *and a MED so I could see which fit best. However, the sleeves on the two dresses were completely different. One looked magenta pink and had smaller mashed-up flowers. The other had larger flowers that actually matched the color of the bodice of the dress and had a sparkly edge on the flowers. Poor quality control. I am 5'7" and 125 lbs. and the SM fits well. Snug but stretchy and comfortable so it hugs and flatters my curves. The sleeves stick to the dress and pull the fabric, after the end of the wedding, I was surprised there were not pulls or balls on the fabric like I'd seen in other image reviews. The fabric is so comfortable and light, but be sure to have a snug fitting slip underneath. I would imagine that the lighter colors of this dress style to be quite see through since the fabric is so thin. Love the plum color. I'm sending the "magenta" one back. Thank goodness the right color/style came in the size I needed. The other is not acceptable and is not properly represented by the photos.UPDATE: I ordered the black one in a separate order. It had beautiful gold details on the flower edges and looked as amazing as the other in plum, only had to send it back because the belt was missing. Bummer. I may try again another time. Feels like a roll of the dice with this dress. Only one of three orders has worked out for me. I would recommend ordering EARLY for any event, in case there are issues with your order. A replacement wouldn't be here on time for the funeral I ordered the dress for.

The dress is very nice. The sleeves are little itchy in the summer when it’s warm outside but in the winter it’s nice! Great dress for Christmas or a special occasion.

I got this dress in white. I ordered a small and I am 5’3 155 lbs muscular build. It fit very snug and tight as I like. My issues however is 1. It didn’t come with the belt (which I was looking forward to) 2. The white is very very see through so you need a black undershirt and black undergarments to properly wear. I laid the dress on my bed and was able to see the bed sheet pattern right through. Other than that beautiful dress! Received a plethora of compliments

The dress is lovely, but not very flattering if you have curves.

This dress fit as expected. I'm 5'6" 155lbs and ordered a large. The dress is very pretty and flattering. HOWEVER, there are a few things I was unhappy with.. 1- the belt that comes with it had a small tear in it when I received it. 2, the dress is INCREDIBLY sheer and thin material. Like to the point that even with a slip on I can't wear any undergarments (even white ones) because you can see them very clearly. You can also see any lines or creases underneath it. 3- the top of the dress seemed stretched out. Idk if it's made that way or if I received one that someone had worn, stretched out, and then returned but it's very noticeable. I think for the quality it's pretty over priced though :( I paid almost $50 for this dress and it looks rather tacky since you can see through it. I understand a certain amount of sheerness since it is white but this was way beyond what I would expect for the priceI was ordering this to wear for my rehearsal dinner for my wedding. It is nowhere near nice enough in person since you can see the slip underneath the top. If you're ordering it just to wear casually, it's probably fine but I wouldn't wear it to an event. It is flattering and has potential, just didn't live up to my expectations

I ordered this dress for my sister in-laws bridal shower to match my daughter and it was absolutely perfect! We got compliments all day! Found her dress on patpat!

I am 5"4 , 170lbs, and this dress shows every wrinkle and fat pocket you have.I ordered the purple to hide the parts I am not proudest of because many of the reviews I read in the comments said the lighter colours were see through.It also showed how body hugging it is even though it says pencil dress.I normally take a large in clothes....I sized UP for this because of the reviews, and I felt like an oversized sausage in a casing.It was awful. 😖 so even the XL wasn't big enough.I have never been a 2X, BUT I dint think that would have even been big enough to be honest.The flowers on the arms are pretty but constantly get stuck to the material on the dress.As you can see by the tape measure, the XL IS 18" lying flat.That is WITHOUT a person inside of it... so imagine!!!!!This company should have a proper sizing chart.This dress made me feel AWFUL about myselfThe tiny thin belt made it worse.

El corte y las mangas hermoso,el tallaje es correcto, el único perooooo es que se trasparamenta, tienes que usar de esas fajitas que son como vestidos muy estallidos para que no se transparente nada, o a la antigüita un fondo medio grueso y largo. La tela es delgada

WOW! L O V E this dress. Bought burgundy instead of black for a friend's upcoming Wedding. I am blonde and 5'2" 120 lbs bought size small and fit perfectly! WOW!My upper body is not so tall so the waist/belt fit perfectly. Great dress for future special dinners/events. Photo to follow after wedding.

The dress is very elegant looking. The sleeves are just beautiful. It does fit very snug. I had to order a size up and return the original one. But the dress itself is really pretty.
