I’ve been in the home service industry for some time now. I’m fed up working for someone else. The start up is exhausting… taxes, insurance, other paperwork makes you wanna tear your hair out. This book helps and has links to resources.I HATE reading and burned thru this book in a few days.Great read.

We decided to start a little side hustle. My husband is super handy and really enjoys fixing things so it seemed like the natural choice. I wanted some insight so we could bypass learning some things "the hard way". While some of the contents were common sense for someone who has owned or managed a business (we have).... the industry specific insights were great! I loved some of the do's and don'ts and well as the marketing perspectives.What started as a side hustle has turned into a lucrative business. While I can't give all the credit to the author of this book (again, we have business experience).... I will say he saved us time, effort, and likely a few mistakes which was more than worth the cost of the book.I highly recommend!!

Learn a lot about the business side of a company and its easy to read and comprehend

Tommy is a high energy, no bullshit type of guy who delivers results. This book will inspire you to take action, challenge you to do things differently, and teach you valuable lessons from people who have already paid the price of admission. Why make the same mistakes as everyone else? Learn from the best and fast-track your way to success. Great book, easy read! If you're in the trades, you need a copy. I've already purchased a bunch to send to clients.

I've read the critique's of this book and I think they're just haters. There is ALOT of very good gold nuggets in this book that a home service business owner can get. Tommy's promotion of service titan is just because service titan is one of the, if not the, most advanced CRM available to business owners. I have tried a lot of them. I do not use service titan but I do know it has a ton of features that my current crm doesnt have. Tommy's point is this; you have to know your numbers (kpi's) or you do not know your business.... Service titan provides KPI'S like no other crm does that i know of............... it's not a sales pitch. It's the reality that Service Titan is the top 5 crms out there if not the best for a business owner to regulate, view, and understand there own business. Tommy really harps on KPI's (average sales ticket, closing ratios, ytd sales, etc) and that's not a bad thing.Mitch W.

I’m not sure what Tommy was thinking giving away all this value for the cost of this book. This will help your business tremendously!This is a must read for any home service contractor in the 2019. The information is relavent and can be applied right away to improve your business.I’m at the beach right now - and I would rather be reading this than going for a swim. That’s how good this is! It’ll help you realize that your business has real potential to become a multi million dollar a year company!

The book is well written, and the content is reasonably close to what you'd expect. Overall, the book was a quick read. While I didn't get the ground breaking secrets to an easy million dollar business, I did get a few tidbits of information or different views. I might have gotten more if I had gone to the different websites listed at the end of every chapter. There are author endorsed (& probably owned) sites & programs being pushed on you. I never went to any of them & still got something out of the book. I am not disappointed that I bought & read the book. But, would not likely recommend it to others as a "must read".

The media could not be loaded. I read this over the weekend and was blown away by the marketing information in this book. For someone that doesn't know marketing, it opened my eyes to a whole new way of thinking about reaching and keeping customers. I found the step by step systematized approach very valuable as well. My entire team needs to read and understand these concepts.I recommend it for any home service business owner who is looking to grow.

An excellent read. I was looking more for a book on business on a smaller scale. A tradesman working on his own. This is more for someone looking to make a big business out of it. Sound ideas. Enjoyed reading it.

Great source of information but nothing too groundbreaking if you are already clued up in sales and marketing techniques for a home service business

Tommy has nailed it, extremely informative for any home service provider.
