Fair for price.
Product as expected, a resealable bag would elevate from good to excellent.

Eggcellent powder.
Excellent storage during the pandemic.Omelettes made from this powder taste better than fresh eggs because the powder contains less egg white than fresh eggs.

Used it to make scrambled eggs
Ordered mine when I couldn't find any eggs in the shops during the COVID-19 outbreak. It comes in a sealed bag which you can't reseal so you will need a container to empty it into. Does not smell very nice once but cooked it tastes just like fresh eggs. For one person to make scrambled eggs I measured the powder into a 15ml measuring spoon and put one spoonful into a bowl. Added 45ml of water and mixed.Heated the mixture in a pan with a little oil and cooked as I would with fresh eggs🥚🥚. The scrambled (dried) eggs looked just like the real thing and were tasty. The egg powder is handy to keep in the cupboard for a back-up.

Not for me!
I bought this because I can use only one hand and cannot crack eggs. I have to admit eggs are not my favourite food but occasionally have scrambled egg or an omelette. I tried scrambled egg in the microwave but didn’t really like the texture or flavour. This is only my personal opinion and others may disagree. There was nothing wrong with the product and I’m sure for convenience it’s hard to beat, just not for me.

Powdered Not Freeze- Dried
These are powdered eggs, NOT freeze-dried eggs. They should not be listed as Freeze-Dried.

Surprisingly good!
I ordered a small quantity of this powdered egg just to see what it is really like, having read about it being often all that was available in Britain during World War II. It arrived on time, was not over-packaged and was in perfect condition. So I immediately used some to make scrambled egg and it came out absolutely fine. In fact if someone gave me scrambled eggs on toast I would be hard-pressed to tell if they had used with fresh eggs or this powder. I think this reconstituted egg will probably work just as well as fresh eggs in baking too and I have decided I will buy some more to keep in my larder in case I want eggs but the shops are closed.
