Love at first sight ❤
My cats adore this. I have three cats, one of them is a tripod, and Toulouse the tripod loves to roll around, scratch, play and sleep in the tunnel. Rory, who looks like Derek Zoolander in feline form, loves to sit on top to strop his claws and bat at his furry brother underneath. The tunnel is a pretty solid construction, unlike the cheaper cottages I've been buying for years. Enya, my eldest cat, used to launch herself onto the cottage roof, destroying the structure, but this is too sturdy for her to wreck it for everyone else. Another bonus is that you don't have to construct the tunnel. It arrives, you unpack it, and there it is, ready to use. No messing around with slotting tabs into place, no studs that ping apart as soon as your cat goes near. Just a solid, sturdy, no frills, all fun tunnel for your kitties. An all-round winner, and worth every extra penny.

Throw out your pop up tunnels!
100% recommend! Our boys love it! Perfect for snoozing in, climbing on, zooming through and doubles up as a scratching post. We've had cheap collapsible tunnels in the past until our cat managed to wedge his claw in-between two hidden metal rings of said tunnel while playing with his brother. It completely twisted his claw, drew blood and almost ripped it off! One vet trip later... Never thought pop up tunnels could pose a risk but they're so thin and easy to get stuck on. THIS however, brilliant. Thick, sturdy, safe, good size but doesn't get in the way and 100% worth the price. Throw out the pop up tunnel and save yourself a vet trip! I bought this months ago and it's categorically the best thing i've bought them.

PERFECT
Mowgli’s favourite thing is his cardboard cat bed. I recently discovered he also loves tunnels. HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES THIS THING! It’s 2 weeks on and it is still in my livingroom. Also, i’m always apprehensive buying cat beds and tunnels online as he is a UNIT of cat being a ragdoll male at a hefty 6kg, but its a really good size! He can sit ontop and inside, run through and even (struggled to) turn around in it once (don’t think he’ll do that again, looked like his eyes were gonna pop out his silly wee skull). I can’t recommend this enough, it’s the best thing i’ve ever bought him. Edit: 1 year on this thing is still going strong. It has 2 dips on the top where he will sit and scratch depending on the way he is facing but still super sturdy. Will definitely replace if it goes but I feel like i’ll get another year out of it.

Messy, but excellent
I bought one of these about a year ago on a whim, for my cat's horizontal scratching requirements, and it was basically like a cardboard hollow-tree-log, that he could get on top of, scratch up some, then flake out on when it all gets a bit much... and occasionally get inside of to terrorize passers by - and he apparently loved it. HOWEVER, cardboard-meets-cat-claw; As you can imagine it does wear down over time - and after about 9 months he had nearly drilled through it, so I got a replacement. This one (bought on this link) definitely isn't as "polished" as the original - you can see that its two sections glued together (which his old one wasn't) and the ends are finished with a cheap shiny brown "paperback book cover" like card that doesn't look great (his old one was just nude, smoothed off cardboard) - BUT - even if I hadn't had the old one to compare to I would still rate this 5 stars. Its sturdy, well tooled, there's no sharp/ paper-cut edges, and so far its stood up to a right going over - the fact he can get more pull on this fresh model that hasn't been ground down, means he's gone absolutely feral on it - Also Cat being a big cat, its just generally impressive how well its taken a beating. An unavoidable side effect though is that while scratching, flakes of card will come off like dandruff, and the area around it will soon build up with bits, even with regular vacuuming - so if you're fastidious and like your home spotless, this might irritate you - especially when you find little bits of card in places you wouldn't expect it to get. Personally though I'll take a few flakes in lieu of a damaged spare bedroom carpet, as he's pretty much exclusively taken to thrashing this vs other horizontal surfaces in the home. (And £40 a year plus a bit of vacuuming I was going to do anyway is definitely preferable to having to replace carpets!) I would just say though, that while I definitely recommend this - and would absolutely get the same one again when he eventually mines his way through his current one - it would be preferable if they sort out the slightly cheap aesthetic of the end-caps. Its not a deal breaker, its just that the older one I had looked 100% better (and realistically means that although it seems his old one is discontinued, if I saw one styled like it, I would get that, not this!)

Great
Our cats LOVE this, which is why we have just bought a second one. Yes our cats scratched through the top (after 2 years) and yes the cardboard bits spread around a bit, but they have never scratched the furniture. I don't add the catnip sachet which gets sent with it as that would create a real mess. We have never had an issue with it being unstable like some of the negative reviews

Very good product, cat’s love it!
Why did you choose this product over others?: It was just like the one my cats had worn out! They are very happy!

It's ok
Yes, this is ok. From other reviews I thought this was a really large, sturdy item. It does the job and it's possibly better quality that some other items, but I'm still searching for an adequate replacement for my elderly Petfusion lounge scratcher and nothing is quite matching up to it.
