These are #8 Rear #6 Front. That's the correct numbers for a .45/.40 caliber.

Way too late for your question, but hopefully will help others reading this. You're being fed misinformation. For .40 & .45 calibers, use #6 front/#8 rear. For 9mm & 357Sig, use #8 front/#8 rear. This is for the Classic Sig pistols (P226, P229). I assume Sig uses the same sights on both their Classic line and the newer P320, but that's not definitive.
