This book is for FRONT WHEEL DRIVE VERSIONS ONLY. I didn't realize that when ordered for my 95 XR7.Shipping was perfect and seller wonderful but actual item for me was useless.If you have V8 or RWD then this is not the book for you

Book was in good condition.After I received the book I paid more for it on line than I could have bought it at your store. I paid 7.87 for it. It had a sticker price of 4.25 on front cover.In the future I will think twice before I but anything on line from amazon.ThanksAnthony Barnes

Great resource, but flawed. To many times it says that the job you are trying to do should only done at a professional auto repair shop. The reason I bought it so I could do the work and not take it to one of those.

Chilton's will never be as good as a Haynes even though I think they are owned by the same company but for $3 its perfect.

Helpful guide. Assisted me in addressing small repairs and maintenance on 1997 Contour. Did not, however, prevent the transmission from failing. :-(

Chilton's Total Car Care Repair... IS THE BEST CONSUMER BOOK OUT THERE. AND GOT IT AT A GREAT PRICE, SAVES ME SO MUCH TIME AND MAKES REPAIRS SO MUCH EASIER THAN OTHER MANUALS.

Not as well detailed as a Haynes manual but ok for minor stuff. Could not get Haynes one for my car -1999 ford cougar- 'shame' could have done with better instruction info. This was all I could find and get

Very pleased with overall service, however, I was expecting a new product for the amount I paid. Used item as described is advertised at less than £5.

I have been after something like this for a few years. Haynes didn't do one so got this 1. While it's not brand new it is still good enough to use. A very helpful book for any would be mechanics for the cougar.

first class well worth the money

I was hoping for more info on the 1999 cougar in this one seeing as that was the cover photo.It does have the power train, brakes and emissions stuff in it. Not so good on body info like how to change the antenna on 1999 model which is on the roof or rear hatch info. It will do for most of what I need.
