I bought these to support several flowers in my native garden that are prone to falling over, often breaking their main stem and ruining their floral display. I bought them also in hopes of keeping a few on hand to steady wildflowers for photographic purposes when wind becomes a factor. Haven't tried the second application yet, but I've already implemented at least 15 of these stakes in my backyard for lovely plants that grow too tall for their own good. The wire is nicely camouflaged and is stouter than expected; whether they develop rust remains to be seen. The circle at the top is about right for capturing most stems, and the flowers have responded well. I've already bought a second set.

My batch of gladiolus are growing really tall this summer taller than any I’ve seen in stores. We’re proud of them but worried how they’ll hold themselves up. These stems get the job done. Gladiolus are thriving with the added support. Plus, not a scratch on our precious fingers.
