Best of both worlds in one!
The media could not be loaded. Firstly the product is very well built with the familiar fabric wrap that you will see on other Amazon Echo devices. The soundbar has a good weight to it and doesn't feel fragile at all.It measures under a meter at 92cm which is likely to be a perfect size for most people's TV set up. It also comes with mounting brackets so you are able top wall mount under a TV that you all ready have hung. The only controls is the touch sensitive bar on top which again looks good, these are not physical buttons and being a sensor will therefore not suffer from any mechanical breakdown. There is a 'Nebula' red tag on the front which I dislike as it does stand out, I may try and remove it or colour it black.Having the Firestick built in is great, no messing about with other devices, one power lead, one hdmi and your'e done. As well as the HDMI (ARC) input / output you have an optical input and USB port however this is for service only and cant be used for USB playback. The LED light / indicator is not too bright or offensive but from my first tests this doesn't turn off at all so is always on but it didn't bother me. It default boots to Fire TV and the interface is identical to all my other Fire Devices.Sound quality is great with a very good 2.1 channel output and the inbuilt sub is surprisingly good and offers a decent amount of bass. This is Dolby Audio but not Dolby Atmos. In my tests I did get a better sound quality with my Echo Studio connected to my Fire TV Cube as this did deliver Atmos however, this did end up costing around £120 more! You can also use this as a stand alone bluetooth speaker and this is easy and straight forward to set up.As far as I can tell you can't hook this up to another Amazon Speaker although there is rumours that this may change in a future update.Overall I am very happy with this as when you look at the cost of a 4K fire TV device and a decent sound bar you are likely to spend more. I have this set up as the sound system in my 2nd lounge and it does a decent job. It doesn't and wont replace my 5.1 surround system though. Check out my video review and please give a thumbs up if you found this review helpful!

Quality sounds
This soundbar is excellent quality and not only works well with my fire TV, but also normal TV and chromecast. Virtually works well with all inputs and has an amazing sound quality. For the price, was definitely worth it.

Nice idea but quite impractical to use
I was looking to replace my existing Samsung sound bar which I purchased with my TV several years ago. I am looking for good fidelity sound, decent bass and good volume for a mid-sized family room. Whilst I was not looking for an inbuilt FireTV, this seemed like an added bonus. Unfortunately my expectations were not met on several fronts - the first being the volume - its tops out prematurely IMO - I expected louder (does not get anywhere near my existing sound bar). Thats not the problem however, the problem is that once setup, if you change the input source on the TV to, say, the FireTV and then back to your TV, the system does not retain its settings meaning you have to go into the TV settings again and reapply them - in my case this means the TV sound source reset to TV speaker and the volume only adjusts the TV - not the soundbar - pretty fundamental as far as I am concerned and definitely a deal breaker - its not fit for purpose on this alone. That's a real shame, because on all other features, it would probably be adequate (not great, just adequate). Overall I give it a 2 because of this and I have just asked for a refund as I know it will drive me stir crazy - having to constantly change the TV settings - meh!

Nice idea but awful implementation.
Great idea but woefully poor implementation. The soundbar defaults to FireTV and indeed changes to FTV mode even when you have set it to the TV as the source. Considering returning to Amazon as it is so annoying to use and there are much better soundbars out there for the same or less money. Have been hoping for a firmware update as this s a new product but nothing seen so far.***Update****After several conversations with support I returned. Support only want to replace and not understand the fault. I even offered to help test as there is definitely potential here, but after over an hour and 6 different customer service representatives (including a Kindle speciallst???), constantly repeating myself and being generally misunderstood, I finally gave up.The fault:As a Fire Stick this works fine, sound is good, only one HDMI used etc. etc. However, as a soundbar....this is where issues arise. As above, randomly changes input source to Fire TV (FTV), so you lose sound. When using with SkyQ, there is a signalling overlap with the Fire TV Home button and the SkyQ Home button (to access the TV guide) and the Sky button (to access recordings) and the input source again changed from ARC (Audio Return Channel) or OPT (Optical) back to FTV (Fire TV) and you again lose sound.

Perfect addition to and media centre
It had a couple of problems to set up. But since it has been great. Amazing sound quality. With ARC hdmi functionality it improves 4k gaming and movie watching massively.
