Best on the market
Best ones yet. Insulated handles are the best and most comfortable. Blade cuts like butter. I've been cutting 10-32 screws for weeks now, probably a couple hundred so far, and it shows no wear. Wish they'd just order me the right size screws haha dont doubt the product!!!

Best insulated side cutters, for the money, you can buy.
When it comes to insulated tools, buying a trusted, quality brand is paramount imo. What's $50 if it saves your life? I KNOW that not only are my Knipex cutters going to slice through and grip almost everything I throw at them, without marring, but they are also going to save my life if I hit a live wire with them. For anyone doubting my claims on the gripping and cutting abilities I'd like to submit 2 pieces if evidence, 1 anecdotal and 1 purely scientific:1. Ive seen my cutters (these) slice through more wires than my coworkers Kleins can (and with less effort), and still maintain their edges so well that they still look close to what they looked like the day I bought them.2. Look up "Project Farm Best Pliers" on Y0u-Tub3. The host, an actual professional, puts them through a gauntlet of tests, head to head with other brands. He then compares the resulting data, while also showing us (the video itself) of each brand's run through the tests. At the end of the video he gives his own suggestion on which brand is the one that will give you the most for your money (essentially "best bang for your buck"). The Knipex pliers take the crown and, in fact, are so good that he lists them in his best items of 2021 video. In closing, buy some Knipex brand pliers; Side cutters, channel locks, needle nose, diagonal cutters, it doesn't matter what type- just make sure they are Knipex!

Excellent product
While this is not an inexpensive set of lineman pliers, it is extremely well made product that will serve me well for my lifetime. When it comes to having protective equipment I would rather pay a little bit more to ensure I have a product that I can trust. I have several other Knipex tools and ALL are well made and based on that I was in a need to replace an aged set of insulated pliers that I needed to stop using. The comfort grips make these very easy to work with if your doing more than replacing one outlet. The quality of the build is exceptional. The grips match perfectly, there is no play in the hinge and the cutters are VERY sharp.

Knipex quality is the best there is.
The machining quality and precision in manufacturing these pliers is better than comparably priced options. My last pair worked like new for years until they were stolen, and going with Knipex again was a no brainer. I’m an electrical mechanic, and use them every single day at work. I’ve used other high end linemans, as well as Kleins, and Knipex always wins out. I can abuse these well beyond what they’re rated to be capable of and nothing seems to wear them down. If you’re a professional, paying a little extra for these is absolutely worth it and you won’t regret it for a single second.

Incredibly sharp and smooth!
For $50 bucks at the time of my purchase you can’t beat it VDE and sharp as can be. Pick them up you’ll love them.

NOTHING COMPETES WITH THESE PLIERS
As a commercial electrician, I am increasingly surprised at how many people haven’t jumped on the Knipex train yet. They blow every Klein counter-part out of the water in just about every category you can think of. The quality of their hand tools is excellent and remains that way no matter how much abuse you throw at them. The Germans definitely know what they are doing with these lineman’s pliers. I am on my second pair after four years with the first pair and the only reason I had to replace them was because I screwed up and cut a live cable. If it wasn’t for that, they would still be making cuts just like they did out of the box. Buy them. You won’t be disappointed. (Unless of course you blow them up like I did ;).

Professional Electrician (and tool maven) here:
As far as I have found so far, ALL of Knipex's pliers are the BEST available in their respective categories. These particular Linesman's pliers come standard with induction-hardened cutters, which you pay extra for with other highly-advertised brands. The chamfered, sort-of-sharp-edged plier head is perfect for reaming EMT conduit; the rounded heads on Kleins and <shudder> Ideals aren't. Knipex's handles are thicker, safer and more comfortable, also. But: if you REALLY want the 'best of the best', check out their 'Cobra Head' pump pliers: For me, it was Love at First Sight--- and I have not changed my opinion of them in 25 years!
