Hirzl Men's Trust Feel Smooth Palm Kangaroo Leather Golf Glove

This is my third HIrzl golf glove, in three years. Each one has lasted almost a full year, playing about 40+ rounds a year and hitting the practice range about an equal number of times over the year. It's great in fit, grip/tackiness, and durability, and better in the rain than the special-purpose "rain gloves" sold by other manufacturers. About once a month I wash in warm water and let it hang in place (if it's not dry, no problem, it still grips great). It's expensive, but when you just need to buy one a year,...? With each of the last two gloves, the rubberized logo and trim have peeled off the Velcro tab after just a couple of wearings, but that's not a big deal. I'll be buying a replacement in ... what, about 9 months?

Pros:Great durability. For me it is more durable than other top brands I've tried with a similar amount of use. Big pro for me. I like having a black palm as I can't see any color transfer from playing with wet grips. The feel of the Kangaroo leather is equal to Cabretta for me.The color on the logo on top of the wrist did wear off pretty quick but I had been using it in the rain quite a bit. The doesn't bother me at all so that doesn't factor in my rating. Haven't really noticed it to have 50% more grip or whatever is advertised but it definitely grips fine, no complaints.Cons:Fingers on this glove on are longer compared to the same size (small in this case) FootJoy I previously had. If they had a Cadet size I'd use that if I were to purchase a Hirzl again. For me the FootJoy SciFlex fit better.If they had a size that fit me as well as my FootJoy SciFlex this would have been 5 stars.

I have no idea what all the 5 star reviews are about. I took it out for the first time today at the driving range... I usually use Foot Joys or Taylor Made gloves...I really really did not like it.Maybe I'm just not a kangaroo person. The leather felt very thick and almost plastic... the fingers a little longer than the same size FootJoy... I really really did not like it. Its in the bottom of my bad only because I can't bring myself to toss it... as I already tossed the packaging.Oh well.

Lettering coming off mid round first use, see my picture.Good quality glove, sweat resistant definitely grippy despite hot and humid weather but you do lose some feel vs AAAA Cabretta.

Since the first time my husband used this Hirzl golf glove he has never tried any other. They are extremely comfortable and have incredible durability. He was sad to find out that this version of the glove is not available anymore. I found 5 gloves that I purchased him for Christmas that should last him for years to come.

I am 63 and carry a 9 handicap. I'm fortunate enough to play a lot of golf. I found that I was wearing out my golf gloves right in the high palm area,almost directly across from your thumb. I searched the web and found Hirzl. They only make gloves(all sports). They use Kangaroo leather for the entire palm and this makes a huge difference. I have never worn out the palm area of one of these gloves and they stay much drier than treated leather.The only issue I have is the back,cow leather portion, wear out and I need to replace the glove.I can't tell you how many rounds I get per glove because I usually alternate rounds with my gloves. I believe these gloves last at least twice as long as your typical high end golf glove.

Used these for several years now and they work very well when wet from either sweat or rain.

Purchased for my father in law for fathers day. He loves this glove. He said it fit true to size and was very comfortable.
