Philippines Map (National Geographic Adventure Map, 3022)

This map is just as described in the write-up: waterproof and tear-resistant - so quite suitable for travel outdoors. The printing itself is very high quality.

I like the map very much,national geographic makes great map's.

You get scared getting maps for foreign countries but this one has been updated with the latest information. I had no troubles following the routes -- more than I can say about my Garmin.

This is a very complete and beautifully designed map of the Philippine Islands, including special illustrations of tourist attractions. It is water-proof and very sturdy.

Was thorough and the map itself was a non tear. Confusing with two sides and the print was tiny but all in all good map

Could have used inserts for capitol. Ferry routes are a great plus!

I live on the big island of Luzon so my comments are based the conditions here. Major roads are clearly marked and many of the smaller villages which are ubiquitous, are shown. The map itself is made from some type of plastic that seems quite strong and will resist the frequent downpours during the rainy season. This is a must if you are planning to travel the PI (which I highly recommend). If you think Google Maps will suffice, you are mistaken. I will order two more. One to glue onto my wall as the map is printed on two sides. The other to take with when traveling. This, with a Garmin should suit a trek quite nicely. Thanks!
