Just finished putting this desk together, unlike the other reviewer the instructions were very clear and easy to follow, it is all detailed in a total of 30 steps (maybe you need an IQ over 15 ? ) , however it will take a few hours to put this thing together because it has many pieces. If you organize yourself from the start it should be easy to follow and one person should be able to do it, all i needed was a good Philips screwdriver and a small hammer (which you use to hammer the back panel on the bottom cabinet). The only reason i took a star off was because the door on the bottom cabinet does not close smoothly, it is slightly tilted, I tried all i could to fix the issue but without success, i gave up and left it as it is, it doesn’t really bother me but it is something that should not be.Everything else about the desk so far is great, it feels sturdy and looks like it will last me a long time, I have a lot of storage space now for my laptop and guitar items, books and everything else i can think of.Also The top part of the desk is removable, you just lay it on top without any screws or nails. So far i am happy with the purchase and will definitely buy the matching set once i move to my new apartment.

I purchased this for my youngest as his first real desk. It fits the space really well and he likes all the storage and, particularly the hutch on top and the tray/drawer. It took almost 5 hours to put together (the instructions aren't always clear about where unfinished edges will end up) but went more quickly and with less confusion after I told my "helper" that he'd done a great job and I could finish it up (another hour later after I'd taken it mostly apart and fit it back together again, I was done ;-) The one downside is that the veneer chips easily and with as hard as my son is on furniture, I expect some edges to soon show wear, but there is some adhesive fix it tape (designed to cover exposed cam holes) that can hide some of those wear and tear issues. I'm happy that he's happy and I expect the desk to do the job for long enough to justify the pricetag.

Amazing desk for the priceWe just set this up last night. It took 1.5 hours but if you used two people and went through the instructions before hand to find places to work ahead it could be done much quicker. The desk was in good condition. The package is well maintained and doesn't have any scratches on the desk itself.I like the desk more than I thought I would. It fits the corner of our room well and is a nice color. The drawers move easily and there is lots of room for the monitors.The directions were VERY easy to follow, and we couldn’t be happier.

The quality of the desk I would give a 5. Very pretty! I also bought the matching file cabinet. Together they are awesome!The instructions I would give a minus 10. If somebody said they put this desk together in two hours, I'm not buying that.Both pieces together took almost 9 hours. And the one piece that the company put together here is a stripped out screw and the holes for the keyboard drawer was drilled way off so the handle is not straight. I would not buy this again if we had to put it together. It if I could pay the company to do it I would. I was thinking about buying some more pieces to match but I will not because of the hassle putting it together.

It is a very nice desk. Not much space for the computer once you set up the extra thing on the top of the desk. The surface feels rough to the touch. Otherwise looks good. I wish the color was more vibrant.

Well manufactured, solid, sturdy, realistic, and strong! This piece of furniture is absolutely beautiful and Seems like it will hold up for years to come! Purchased as a present for my mom and she absolutely loves it! She uses it daily!

was not really hard to put together, only had 1 issue with how the top drawer brackets went on, the pictures were not all that clear there.
