I did not know anyone who used one before so it was my first time trying it out. Suprisingly my patients really like it and the clarity and sound are pretty decent. I think it's a good product for the price.

Did not meet my expectations
The ezGear TH100 G1 - ezVision Video Glasses arrived promptly, like all my orders from Amazon.com and I was anxious to try them out and expecting a stunning new TV viewing experience.I plugged in my video source, plugged in my headphones, put the glasses on, and ... saw a really fuzzy picture. Ok, I figured I am near sighted maybe there is an adjustment or something .. looked at the user manual and it says the device will fit over glasses, and it did ... and that cleared up the picture but, the thing is very heavy and uncomfortable and is worse with glasses on.The picture, was something far from the stunning experience I was expecting. This thing is suppose to look like I'm watching a 50 inch TV right? Well it looked like I was watching a blown up Casio 2" Portable TV , which is really what this is.Ok, so at this point... I'm usually not a whiner but I don't think this is worth $189.19, but I wasn't going to return it... then I realized the right audio channel has no sound. I checked my cables, tried a different source, swapped the left and right cables, and sure enough the right channel is busted. Almost no sound. Man this sucks. Five minutes later the video turned all white. That sealed it, returned for a refund.Would I recommend buying this? Sure, if it was in the $20 discount bin but not for $189.19.

This is an augmented display not a VR display. Very low resolution. Bought it used and the connection cables were very very loose, could not move without the display going out.

had to be returned. Not at all what I was thinking i was getting
The husband asked for these but was not at all happy once he got them and tried them out. I'm not sure if it was because he usually wears glasses and they didn't focus for him or what but I had to send them back.

can be way better
the earplugs fall off, the quality isn't that good.and i can't play it on my ipod with the delivered cable.

Unnaceptable Level of Customer Service
Please be ware that ezGear offers limited warranty coverage (just 3 months in my case), and that customer support may be inexistent shortly after the warranty expires. In other words, if your equipment becomes defective for any reason after the warranty expires, ezGear may not fix or replace it. It's not that they may not fix or replace it for free. They may not fix or replace it at all, even if you're willing to pay for the service!In early 2007 I bought from Amazon.com an earlier version of this product called iWear, for which I paid a couple hundred dollars at the time. After just a few weeks of use, one of its legs broke, even though the equipment had been used gently. At the time I sent it back to ezGear and my unit was replaced under the 3 months warranty at no extra cost other than shipping. 18 months after I got another broken leg, but at this time ezGear refused to repair or replace the product, even if I was willing to pay for the service! ezGear simply didn't offer customer support for my iWear after the warranty expired. I consider this practice unacceptable, specially for a relatively pricey item such as video goggles, and I'll never buy from ezGear again.March 26, 2009 Update:In reference to the above, and after lecturing me several times by e-mail that "threatening us or any other company [with my comments] to meet your needs is not an acceptable way to conduct business", ezGear contacted me by phone and proposed that I sent my goggles to them for repair. I did so, and was by then hopeful that we would come to a reasonable solution. After a few weeks, though, ezGear called me and informed that they were indeed not able to fix my unit anymore. They proposed to exchange it for one of the newer models for $100. I declined. They then asked me if I wanted my defective unit to be sent back to me. Again, I declined.

OK product, cheap quality
We bought these goggles a few years ago, when they were called iWear, to use with the video iPod. The picture quality was so-so, and they're not comfortable to wear, but we figured it would work OK for our patients. At some point one of the ear buds went dead; by that time the product was out of warranty.About 2 years into its use one of the legs broke off, not at the hinge as one would expect but actually the plastic part of the goggle body itself. We glued it together with plastic cement, bot a month later the other leg broke off, in pretty much same place. We glued it again, but then it broke again in a new place, not where we glued it. Conclusion: the quality of plastic the goggle body is made of is way too cheap. So, overall, we would not recommend this product, and are currently looking into a different brand to replace the one we had.
