Great replacement for the rubber band that comes with my Garmin. So much more comfortable than the stock band and super easy to install with the quick release pins. I used some leather conditioner when I first unpackaged to soften the leather and increase flexibility and comfort. After a month, reconditioned again to protect the area that gets rubbed a lot. The fit for me is loose or tight at first. I don’t like the watch loose so picked the tighter fit based on the holes. After conditioned and wearing, the watch band now fits perfect.

When I first opened the package, I was pretty sure it was plastic leather. To investigate further, I put on an application of "bear grease" to see if it was leather. Yep, it is. After another application of "bear grease" and rubbed it in really well. Now it is soft and just fits to my wrist. It also now has that burnished leather look. Great value as long as you have bear grease!

I replaced the rubber wristband that came with my Garmin fitness tracker. The original band would irritate my wrist as it was frequently sweated. I have been wearing this new one for months and have no regrets about purchasing it. It is very comfortable to wear and looks great.Update: 10 months later I needed a new band and I liked this one so much that I bought another one when my first one broke. I am very hard on watches and wear my Garmin virtually 24/7/365. I attribute the necessity to replace it is due to that reason. I recommend softening and treating the band with a leather oil. I used Redwing leather oil on it before I used it this time and will occasionally apply it in the future. The oil will slightly darken the leather but I like that and it will prevent drying out the leather and exposure to sweat. I do not have any regrets buying this band and will do it again when it's needed.

The quality of the product was acceptable and the price was reasonable. Unfortunately, it was manufactured in China and that information was not available on the product description on Amazon's website. I am trying to avoid purchasing products made in China, so this is information is very important to me.
