Six Sisters' Stuff: Family Recipes, Fun Crafts, and So Much More

Book arrived from seller on time and in excellent condition. I have already made the tortilla roll ups for lunch and grilled 7-up chicken for dinner (I will be making that a lot this summer). I have marked the pineapple orange cake to make this summer. Looks very simple & delicious. We are making the thin mint no bake cookie truffles this weekend. This book has some cute crafts (the ice cone cream pinata will be handy this summer for our cookout). I think the crafts should have been put in their own chapter instead of mixed in between food recipes. It's not a biggie just a thought. There is a few pages dedicated to a spring cleaning list. I copied the list & hung it on my fridge to check off (got started this am!). I really like Six Sitters cook books/books. The recipes are easy, fun & yummy. This is a good one.

This has quickly become my favorite cookbook. Since purchasing the book a few weeks ago, I've already tried 6 of the recipes and they were all instant hits in my family. Not only are the recipes easy to make, they're amazingly flavorful which makes cooking from this book fun! (And I don't normally enjoy cooking.) As a working wife and mother, meals that are quick and easy to prepare are a must to get us through the week. There are so many good recipes in here that my tired rotation of meal staples is quickly being replaced.The recipes themselves are high quality but so is this book! Each recipe is accompanied by a beautiful full color, full page picture. (And the meals I make look very close to the pictures, which amazes me.) There are also excellent ideas for family fun, how to construct a 72 hour emergency kit for each member of your family over the course of a year, craft ideas and more. This is a great book, overall for busy families.I've already recommended the book to all my mom friends. So glad I stumbled upon this excellent book!

I LOVE their blog, and was very excited to get the cookbook for home!First, I love the "stuff" included; the healthy snacks, the different topics covered, a great addition! I love that there is a slow cooker section of the cookbook, and the desserts are wonderful. My only {tiny!} issue is that I really wish there was a larger, and different selection of main dishes. These girls have SO many wonderful recipes on their blog, and you can tell they are so creative in the kitchen, so I was hoping for something different there.I have tried the Baked Chicken Bacon Ranch Taquitos, the 3 jello salads and Snickers Apple Salad, and a few of the indoor activities for kids and great success with all.If you're someone looking for some general inspiration at home, snatch it up! The crafts, desserts and dishes will be just what you need. The sisters seem to have written this book for women like me, younger moms who need fast and creative ideas, that stay within the budget! However, if you are a cook very experienced with the basics, you may want to keep looking.Overall, I am so glad I added this to my shelf! :)

I really like the majority of the recipes. They are easy, nutritious and very tasty. They are also kid-friendly. I just bought one for my daughter who has a 2 year old.

Always a pleasure to receive and try out the 6 Sisters cookbooks. Never found one yet the family didn't like.
