Fontaniniby Roman Inc., Seated Ox, 5" Animals Collection, Nativity Figure and Accessories, Hand Sculpted and Painted

I've had my Fontanini Nativity set for decades and always felt like something was missing. The addition of the ox to the donkey, sheep and goat in my set completed the picture. I love the quality of the Fontanini figurines and this one is no exception.

Very nice. Like the material it is made of, hoping it lasts longer since it’s like a rubbery material.

This year it was time to add more animals. All these years without an Ox, and then I found this perfect creature. He’s ideal with the 5inch figures-and now that he’s here I honestly can’t remember life before him in the stable. Love.

Just be sure to get the correct size for your set.

Finally an animal made to proper scale. Most of the cattle you see with nativity sets look like they're the same size as a dog would be in scale to the humans. But this guy is big enough to look real. I really don't understand people's gripes about it. One reviewer said they didn't like the white face - it clearly has a white face in the picture. One said they didn't like that it was made of plastic. It says right in the description what it's made of. People, read and use your eyes! It is exactly as described and fits in beautifully with the 5" scale figures.

Containing is a great brand and I love the style of their nativity artwork. But it’s pricey for a plastic product.
