The ARCHON Adjustable Dual Pulley Cable Station is a versatile space saver with an abundance of potential cable exercises for your at home gym and commercial studio. Having a dual handle pulley allows for both bilateral and unilateral exercises with 17 vertical adjustments. 🏋️ Chest workouts, Back workouts, Bicep Workouts, Tricep Workouts, Abdominal Workouts, Leg Workouts, and "Your fitness imagination!" With 2 commercial handles included, ARCHON offers a variation that includes one of our cable accessories kits. ⚙️ ENGINEERING ⚙️ The pulley carriage is constructed of 4 linear bearings providing a nonresistance gliding motion you will appreciate. Unlike our competitors, ARCHON uses "Commercial" Steel Bearings and Solid Steel Guide Rods. Lesser priced units by our competition use plastic bushings that over time will stick, rub, and create friction. Let our ARCHON Engineer explain the difference, "The benefit of solid steel chrome finished rods and linear steel ball bearings comes down to friction. Friction is the number one factor to look at when your goal is a smooth transition and no added resistance to your strength training exercise routines. When it comes to the coefficient of friction chart metal on metal is the best way to go to keep your friction as low as possible. Solid steel rods are chosen because bearings would over time beat up and slowly deform hollow steel tubing ( not a solid ). The chrome finish is to help lower the coefficient of friction even more. Choosing 2 linear steel ball bearings per rod helps keep a more uniform and larger surface area of contact between the rods and your plate carriage which is needed when loading with heavy weights." In the end....you will have a cable weight machine that will help you excel whether you are building muscle, toning, or losing weight.

Must have for Home Gym and PT
I recently took up weight training beginning of 2017. I did all the traditional lifts and lifted heavy (5-7 rep range). One year later, I developed muscle imbalances due to all the pressing movements, which lead to a right rotator cuff injury/impingement. After PT and a lot of research into weight training with a PT emphasis, I proceeded to change my entire training to prioritize more pulling exercises with movements focused on joint health first (RC), then strength gains second. My main goal now is sustainable fitness that I can continue into my 60’s and beyond. With that in mind, I got the Archon cable station as an add-on to my home gym/ power rack, so I can also integrate cable (pulling) workouts to my program. This was the best decision ever. The Archon Cable Station quickly became my favorite piece of equipment. So much so, I have now sold off my power rack and now focusing on just cable work, Barbell deadlift, and dumbbell press. The Archon cable station has allowed me to focus on providing consistent tension to the exact muscles groups that I require for each movement with the best range of motion possible that is safe and under my complete control. My joints never felt better and my mind – muscle connection is much easier to obtain.Regarding joint health, the Archon cable station has allowed me to expand my PT shoulder work into shoulder days, where I use the cable station to fully work all my Delts and my rotator cuff muscles.Pros:1) Wall mounted designed takes up very small footprint/space.2) High enough, so you can do lat pulls and more exercises then the Valor model.3) Fits bumper plates and standard Olympic plates (adapter included)4) Weights do not be equal on both sides to be functional.5) Smooth BALL BEARING design allows for steady cable work for alternating movements6) Looks very cool with my rack and much more expensive then it is.7) Amazing and responsive customer serviceCons:1) It is quite tall, you will need about 90 1/8 inches of wall space to install this.2) Does not come with other attachments (tricep rope, lat bar, etc)3) Does not come with hardware to install on wood studs (just concrete)4) No optional weight stack5) The cable work is not as smooth when using the handles separately and at the same time. Again, it shines best when doing alternating movements.Tips:When doing Ab crunches, I find it easier on my wrist using the standard handles and pulling next to my ears, instead of using the triceps rope. Make sure you attach the handles to one cable pulley for this movement. When doing triceps extension, you don’t necessarily require a triceps rope. Using standard handles, angle the handles vertical along the nylon material, grab both handles like you would a tricipes rope and push down. When assembling the cable station, I recommend you stick to the steps listed in the documentation, rather than the video. However, when routing the cable through the unit, refer back to end of the video visually see how the cable is routed. If you use the directions in the documentation and the video, you will get confused and slow down.Take note of the amendment documentation, where a pair of cable slides are switched out for applicable ones.Feedback for owner/designer:On the design of the cable station. For the upper bolt locations where the station is secured to the wall, there is currently two vertical metal tabs (one upper tab and lower tab). This upper tab increases the height of the unit by about 1 inch. If you were to remove this upper tab, and instead make it a horizontal bar, where the 2 tabs are located horizontally by each other by a distance of say 7 inches, you would possible increase the stability of the unit and also decrease the overall height of the unit, without sacrificing the working height of the cable station itself.

Valor Fitness machine ain't got nothing on this one.. I @#$%ing love this thing..
To the lad who wishes he bought the 'Valor Fitness Machine' instead, you're not missing out on much if you ask me. This thing holds oly plates/weights and has four bolt down footing/pads for concrete/wood - everything the valor does not have but that every gym equipment should have standard. Rant over.Initially, I bought this for my wife who hated the fact that the cable machines at the gym were ALWAYS occupied. I thought all I needed was my power rack, barbell, dumbbells, and bench to get me through. But this thing has blown me away so much I'm considering getting a second one. It may not seem as smooth as your run of the mill $2000+ globo gym cable machines, but this thing is perfect for the home setting. I believe the 'noisyness' (there isn't anyway imo) that 1-2 star reviewers are leaving is the noise of the ball bearings as the weight bearing assembly moves up and down. To me, it sounds smooth and seamless in my opinion and I have music in the background anyway. It's compact and sturdy as heck (but results may vary on your handiness). Also note, you need to attach it to a STUD using a STUD FINDER. Please NOTE: Drywall alone can barely hold up a picture frame much less a 200lbs+ weight bearing piece of gym equipment... -_- It's sad that this needs to be said. This thing should be gleaming 5-stars throughout. Cheers Archon - keep up the great work.

Exceeded expectations in both QUALITY and versatility
I had this together quickly and all the parts are very good quality, well marked, directions were well labeled and nothing was missing. After I put it together I tested it: (I bought a few attachments) so I did some Face pulls, Flys, Rear Delts, Front and side shoulder raises, Lat pulldowns, Rows, Bicep curls, 3 variations of Triceps, Donkey kicks, Side kicks, Wood choppers, Kneeling ab crunches! I'm sure there's more and I don't quite know how I was working out with just a squat rack and a barbell before this? This machine far FAR exceeded my expectations in both quality and versatility. Everything is smooth and well made. I put lag bolts into the top and bottom wall attachments and the unit is solid and definitely doesn't need floor mounting. I debated on the Vlor unit but ultimately chose this because of the commercial quality and use of ball bearings. I contacted the seller via youtube video on a Saturday night and had a response within minutes. Cheers!

Why did i wait soooo long!
Only thing i did not like was instructions however if you use both the paper and online instruction you get it. Its not rocket science. I assembled on my own and the toughest part was getting the long beams screwed into the base screw. It was awkward to do on own plus i have a fractured radius which didnt help.Still getting the feel of it but it is smooth, sturdy and been using bands for a while and actual weight is a DELIGHT! Bands have nothing on real weight but are great for my online grp x classes. If you enjoy training at home this will be the absolute best add you can make.
