The Journey Home: A Kryon Parable: The Story of Michael Thomas and the Seven Angels

Soon after my father's passing a couple years ago I ordered this book. Although I am, and have been for years, a full on believer in reincarnation, I still had trouble coping with the loss of my father. In fact the pain I felt really surprised me as I had never had a close or healthy relationship with my Dad and "The Journey Home" truly helped me cope with my grief. Although my 81 year old mother had been divorced from my father for many years, my father's passing proved to be far more difficult for her than either she or I had anticipated as well. His passing sadly only seemed to increase her growing anxiety about her own mortality. So, I decided to read this book, in it's entirety, with my beloved mother the Summer following his death. We took our time, taking turns reading it aloud, at the beach, by the pool, and sometimes just sitting at home. Sharing this book, in this way, turned out to be not only an excellent bonding experience for us both, but also proved to be a very cathartic way to work through the heartache we were both experiencing. My mother still struggles with her belief of reincarnation, and fear of death and dying, but the many times she's having one of those fearful unsure moments, I'll go over different passages of the book we highlighted with her to help her get through. And, so far it really seems to help! For this and many other reasons, "The Journey Home" has proven to be a priceless and important part of both our journeys in this life and so I am so very grateful to have found this incredible book. It was a journey for him to find himself and change what he was to what he would become. It was amazing! Loved the book. Well written.

This book follows the life, death and awakening of Michael Thomas. Michael has a hum drum life, hum drum job and hum drum existance. After leaving work early one day, Michael arrives home to surprise an intruder. A fight ensues and Michael is rendered unconscious and in a coma.Michael is visited by an Angel in the hospital who advises him that he is in a coma and near death. Michael tells the Angel that he wants to die. The Angel tells Michael that he can go home to God, but first he has to go on a journey. At the completion of the journey Michael will have the choice to go home to God, or go back to his life on Earth. During the journey Michael will visit 7 houses, and with the help of the Angel of the house he must learn his "lesson" in order to proceed to the next house. All through this journey Michael is followed by what I call an "oogy boogy", which is a menacing unknown force intent on Michael's failure of the journey.This is an excellent book for anyone who is at a point in their life where they are experiencing spiritual enlightenment and awakening. While Michael is learning his lessons, the reader is learning their life lessons. This book is filled with invaluable information for anyone that reads it.

Fits my teachings so closely. The similarities are astonishing. Recommend this book to anyone who is trying to find them selves and their purpose.

I this book always makes me cry. It is touching in a life-changing way. I have learned many lessons from this book. I need reminding of its truths so often.

I enjoyed the parallels drawn between God's word and the book's many spiritual concepts. What an enlightening experience. Some of the biblical studies I have endeavored upon over these past 18 years seem so much more clearer now. The description of overwhelming reverence in the presence of God was described so eloquently and on par. A book that must be read multiple times for its depth and for the sake of unraveling it's many pearls of wisdom.

I read this book some 15 years ago after experiencing a Kryon event. The story and parable was poignant then as it still is when I just re-read the book this year! I also bought copies for my siblings. The Path goes ever on, but some Truths never grow old! The story is engaging enough to keep you reading even if you aren't necessarily "spiritual". If you are, then the recognition of the Truth will keep you smiling as you read!
