These books come new, plastic wrapped in the factory packaging.These books are great quality, not the usual cheap quality you can get off amazon. around 1300+ pages of content to go through, covering so much in CCNA and lots of topics.Definitely worth the money in my opinion, although I haven't started reading them yet as I've covered most topics in my uni studies, I am looking forward to it because the quality is just great.Would recommend.

Love this book. It is a very technical ccna book. It will cover everything that you need. It even offers some resources for previous topics that arent covered in the current exam such as subnet design or actual STP implementation.There is also a study planner/guide which is very useful. Plus all the bonus resources, defo go for the book over the ebook.As for the book itself, i personally like it. Ive seen people complain about it being dry and hard to read but I disagree. I find all thd information is laid out clearly and the DIKTA question. is very helpful to know how much time to spend on a subject.Keep in mind it is technical, and yes it does go very indepth in a topic....but I think thats more of a plus than a negative.I would read a chapter + do a jeremyitlab video to compliment the topic or chapter. Then do all of the review tasks in the book. Then when I feel im ready I will move onto the next topic, update the study planner and mark off the exam topics ive studied via a highlighter.Has worked well for me so far.Only disadvantage id say is that the pages are in B/W. Which is a little bit of a letdown.But otherwise, defo recommend the book

After reading some of the more recent views, i noticed people complaining about software missing and bumped boxes etc.Just to say mine come next day brand new SEALED and in hardback rather than paperback( advertised)I have read a few hundred pages over the last couple days and it is a fairly good book, the companion website ciscopress.com and the other site Pearsontest.com have good resources.ciscopress.com:Key Topics per chapter in downloadable PDF formatFlashcards which are really funMemory tables and practice ExercisesConfig Checklist ExercisesVideo TrainingConfig LabsThis all comes with the book for volume 1 and 2pearsontest.comA practice exam where you can select all chapters or just a few, it does give details on correct answers i have used it a couple times.I didn't really buy the book for these extra resources, mainly just for something to read while in bed. Don't listen to the negative comments, its a great book and easy to understand with all those extra features which are basically FREE !!!!

I used to work in IT ,but did not take advantage of my position by updating my skills, which I regret to this day.So thanks to Covid and my mundane retail job I will reinvent myself .I decided to ditch Comptia A+ and invest in CCNA 200-301.After reading the reviews and looking on the Cisco web site, to make sure that this course of study would suit me, I finally made the investment and am very pleased that I have done so.Reasons are as follows:Chapter and section pre test and review to consolidate learning.Cisco press resources.Cisco.com resources.Pearson test prep resources.Immersion of Cisco exam terminology and in depth coverage.I have purchased the two volume Official cert guide and in addition to this (just in case I needed background or easier explanations I also bought Tom Lammle's CCNA Certification 200-301 Sybex offering).Day one review:I have taken the time to read the introduction, accessed the bonus material, prepared a study plan.It is 05:08 in the morning and I am skimming through the first chapter (due to acing the DIKTA quiz)I like the depth and easy way that that concepts are presented, not like a dry book, but more like a complete course of study, review and evaluation.As I work nights and want to pre listen to lesson prior to reading in order to get the most from my investment and to fully commit to learning and preparing for CCNAI have decided to take advantage of the 70% discount card included in book and have purchased the Premium bundle too, as this works out as £9.00 for the pdf ,epub version plus extra exams.If you are considering CCNA this book along with the additional Ciscopress/Cisco.com resources would be a wise investment, not just for the savings but more for the wording and support that allows you to relax & fully prepare for CCNA .

The book follows the official guide (although I have yet to take the exam). The two books are very detailed and the extra /e version allows you to get a taste for the exam and ebooks, limited videos and a companion website (with flashcards, labs, and other extra content etc).Likes...1) the books seem very detailed, you also get ebooks, the videos which are not very detailed and are limited in number but if you are like me you will want to build your own lab anyway to learn the content properly.2) self paced, no need to keep to any deadlines so you can fit it in around other things if you need.Dislikes,1) questions are limited and so are the videos, you can buy more but to be honsest I prefer to read the book and learn it properly using real grey stock kit purcheased off ebay. I also used GNS which is also good for learning routing but not so good at switching (so far anyway).2. You will need industry expirience or you will get lost in the jargon. Its not for complete newbies!!Overall I am really pleased with what I purcheased, I would go with the electronic edition as it will get you started with a few labs at least and the help companion website. I have dabbled around with Cisco equiptment and GNS in the past to get me through other exams and issues I have had so I already had some prior knowlege.. I presume the exam will be fairly difficault but for me I wanted the detail in the books to learn it in depth...

This book helped me to understand Cisco CCNA 200-301 to prepare for my exam, and on top of that, with this book, I have access to online books and labs... I fully recommend it

Libros muy útiles y bien escritos. Contienen toda la información necesaria para el examen CCNA y mucho contenido extra (vídeos, preguntas de exámenes, ejercicios prácticos, laboratorios…) al que se puede acceder con un código incluido en el libro. Muy recomendables!
