Very high quality. Would definitely buy another from this company.
My 11-year old son and I built the airplane version of this kit and the finished project now stands proudly on his dresser top in his room. We had lots of fun. There are many, many parts but everything snaps together with precision. The model is 2-in-1 meaning you can build the plane or the truck, my son chose the plane. Because it is a snap together model you can easily disassemble and build the other model too. As a child, I built many a model airplane, car, truck, etc. I know today (50+ years later) that all that building helped me become the person I am today. The creativity, problem solving, fine motor skills, ability to visualize how things will look when done, and on and on. I wanted my son to try and hone these skills too. At first he was reluctant. I patiently sat with him and together we built this model or the course of two days. I’d say it took about six hours to assemble. Very early on he got more and more excited as the many parts took shape. I watched my son go from non-interested to absolutely overflowing with pride and joy when finished. I cannot emphasize enough how important model building skills are for the future development of our kids. There is not enough of this today as most kids would rather play video games (which may have their own benefits of which I am not an expert). This model is very high quality and requires several skills to complete successfully - - PATIENCE - you’ll start but will not finish in one sitting. ABILITY TO READ AND UNDERSTAND DIRECTIONS- most adults can’t do this. Heck, most adults don’t even attempt to read the directions and there in lies an important skill. ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS - ability to separate the parts into neat and workable piles so as to efficiently assemble the model. DEXTERITY AND FINE MOTOR SKILLS - some of the parts are quite small so handling them requires a certain amount of skill, skill that must be learned and practiced to develop. PERSISTENCE - because your child will most likely not complete this model in one sitting, they will learn to fishing what they started and focus on accomplishing their goal. SATISFACTION - learning how wonderful it feels to complete a goal you set out to accomplish and seeing those results displayed in front of you and for all to see is an important life skill. AND MUCH MORE .... This model is of excellent quality and I highly recommend to those looking for such a project. Very high quality and very fun. Step-by-step instructions are easy to follow and lead you to build either the plane or truck. Creative types can easily use the parts to assemble their own ideas.

Involved instructions
The kit has many small parts, suggest putting them on a white cardboard sheet. Some of the images are in inversed view, so for a young child, a bit more challenging. We also had issue with wheels falling off due to loose fitting connection. Looks nice when finished, but must be handled carefully.

Giftable, Kid-Attractive Packaging
This was purchased as a gift, so I can't comment much on the quality of the toy itself; however, the other children who saw this before it was wrapped and sent off were very jealous after seeing the outside of the box and were begging for it to be given to them/asking to open it and play with it. If it's as fun as it look on the outside I'm sure the recipient had a blast.

Great challenge and fun
My grandson loved this. It was for his 7th bday and he had it put together in about an hour. Nothing like a child’s expression and feeling of accomplishment after putting something like this together. Totally recommend it.

More Complicated, than you thought
Okay, so my niece and nephew are smart kids and I give them more than they can handle often to make them grow, but this was another level. The age guidelines are true to the letter or if not, a little more relaxed, than they should be. This is a ton of small intricate pieces that require time and dedication, whether you're a 6-8 yr old kid or a 30 years old with a few master degrees--it takes effort and time. I was hoping to enjoy the building process, but each leg of the journey was very tedious and almost not gratifying. As with most complex legos--you have to put the time in to earn the reward. The downfall for this one is there was no reward until many steps in. So, with the right expectations, this is a mind-twister that makes a great truck or plane, should you get there.

Great value toy
I got this for my 6 year old grandson that loves regular Lego bricks AND construction equipment. The parts are a copy of Lego Technics (and interchangeable with them). It was too advanced for him at first, so we started putting it together by working as a team. He quickly got the hang of it, and by the time we finished he didn’t need a great deal of help. You can manually steer the front wheels and dump it (on the truck). We haven’t made the plane yet, we moved on to another kit (a crane).
