Vater Percussion 5A Drumsticks, Nylon Tip, Eternal Black

This was actually for a gift and they were a big hit. These were perfect because I got them for someone that has an electric drum set. He said that they worked well without scratching up the drum heads.

I bought these for my 13 yr old son and he loves them. They don't feel cheap and they are regular size, not too big and not too small. Shipped fast too!

At first you'll notice they are pretty light, not to worry though I play the hell out of my drums (rims) and they are still holding up.. Great feel, aggressive look, the nylon tips provide a more crisp attack on cymbals (it will get white marks all over them though). The balance and control are top notch and to top it all off the black coating acts as kind of a better grip then traditional sticks.. Only down side is the graphics seem to fade pretty fast, You cant tell from the pics here but they've got little skull and cross bones near the markings, wish it would stick around longer. Maybe some type of clear coat would fix this? Awesome Sticks overall

I've used Vater 5A nylon tip sticks for years. I thought I would try to save a little cash since these were cheaper than the regular ones... BIG MISTAKE! If you sweat AT ALL while you play, you will be losing sticks left and right, they are slippery to begin with because of the black finish on them, and they will leave black residue on your cymbals. Just stick to the regular 5A's and don't waste your $ on these.

Bonnes baguettes. Un peu lourdes et plutôt épaisses par rapport aux Vic Firth. Une bonne prise en main. Coloris noir très sympa.
