BHU Foods, Cookies Keto Double Dark Chocolate Chip, 5.3 Ounce

The double dark cookie dough protein bites are so good. The family likes to have a snack/dessert that is organic and does not include sugar. The texture is amazing and it helps that one individually wrapped bar is only 130 calories. I have bought many BHU foods products from Whole Foods.

If you are expecting a classic fudge brownie, well this is not it. They are dry and crumbly, but actually pretty tasty. So while I would not recommend them for the average person, if you are on a keto diet and want a something as a dessert these are pretty good. Not exactly the best value, but if you are on the keto diet you have pretty much signed up for that.

These are buttery soft and have a nice flavor. My favorite feature is that they are made from healthy, high quality ingredients. My only complaint is for the price; PLEASE FILL THE BAG WITH MORE.

The product I received wasn’t out of date, but that was the first thing I checked after trying one. It was so soft it couldn’t be unwrapped, with some oil coming out of it. The texture was grainy, dry in spite of the oil. It tasted chalky and bitter, (I like unsweetened cocoa, but not in this), with a taste of sugar alcohol that I couldn’t get out of my mouth for hours afterwards. Tried putting them in the refrigerator to firm them up… but it just made them worse. Wish I could’ve returned them. I don’t think I would’ve bought them again even if they’d tasted better, because they were expensive and very wasteful packaging, but I wasn’t even close to tempted. These are just nasty, with zero redeeming factors.

If you were expecting a real, authentic, sweetness - this isn’t it. I wanted to like this, but they remind me of play doh texture and are bitter. I’d rather save the calories, and day dream of cookie dough. It’s worth a try, but it’s not my cup of tea.

I was set for this to be dry and to taste artificial, but I was jones'ing for a keto dessert that I didn't have to make myself.OMG. It's delish! Super chocolatey, pretty creamy, and I didn't taste anything that seemed artificial.SO happy I got myself this little treat. Sure, I wish it was less expensive. The upside of the price? I won't eat dessert all day long. Seriously, I was blown away!Oh, also love that these are individually wrapped. Helps with freshness, I'm sure.

I apologize for the earlier review. I didn’t realize that you changed the packaging. I thought I got 4 Keto Bites and 6 Protein Bites and I did not order protein bites but didn’t realize it was all the same. This product has been my saving grace since I have been sugar free for 3 years. Plus it doesn’t bother my stomach in any way like some sugar free chocolate. Thank you.

I wanted this for a snack in between meals, I got it first at Whole Foods which was much cheaper then Amazon, there are only 6 pieces in each bag, taste was fair, will not reorder!
