Mrs. Miller'sAmish Homemade Hot Pepper Jelly - 18 oz (2 JARS)- Sweet & Spicy - Great Marinade!

This stuff is amazing! I like it best over cream cheese with Fritos scoops. So good!

What I liked about this jelly was, of course, the hot peppers. But for me, the spiciness was just right. Not super spicy where I couldn't eat it but just enough in the jelly to have a little kick to it.

I wanted to make a jalapeno apple pie ("Angry" apple pie) for Halloween and it called for jalapeno jelly. The only product available at the supermarket had preservatives and food dye in it, which didn't appeal to me. I found this on Amazon and am thrilled! It tastes great, and will be excellent in the pie. It also should be good as an accent in stir fries and for marinades. It has some spice, but is not obnoxiously hot, and doesn't make you run for a glass of milk to taste it out of the jar. Enjoy!

The consistency is fine. This jelly is just too sweet. No spice No heat. Typical Amish product.

I had tried this over Easter (2021) at my families dinner with crackers, cheese and pepperoni, and loved it. It has a nice warm spice to it, but it's not overpowering at all. It's a different hot spice than hot sauce, but it tastes great! I've since purchased it for myself and I've used it in Scrambled eggs, on Egg sandwiches, on steamed veggies, on Turkey and cheese sandwiches and Ham and Cheese sandwiches instead of mayo or mustard, and with crackers and cheese again. Definitely recommend this!!Each jar came wrapped in plastic as well.

It is very tasty, however as a diabetic, it is something I need to stay away from, otherwise a very good product.

I bought this hoping it would be HOT as indicated. It is MILD at best...an unusual jelly, chunky with peppers...not a bad thing, but absolutely NO HEAT in either jar (could they be mislabeled??) It does have a pleasant enough flavor, although the consistency takes a bit of getting used to with the peppers (which, based on the heat--NONE--factor are bell peppers) in this jelly...I'll eventually use it up, but sadly (in spite of stellar reviews) nothing special, which is disappointing as I do love hot pepper jelly with cream cheese...If it's heat you seek, Mrs. Miller didn't deliver--at least not in the two large jars I purchased--so I suggest you do what I will now have to do: Look elsewhere!

So so good about my 8 or 9th pint jar. Very good tasting not to hot just right. I eat it with cream cheese and club crackers. You get your money worth. Love it
