Got this for my kiddo for a gift along with a sample set of wool, and a felting starter kit. She’s only 13 & has ZERO prior experience with felting yet she is making the cutest animals from this book with ease! She says it’s very easy to read & understand. I love the variety of animals you can create with this book as well.. bunnies, puppies, chipmunks, and more!

Cute projects, not a total beginner book. The author assumes you know some basic felting, even though they start from the beginning of the project with pictures. I guess because I am a complete novice, I needed more advice and tips. Great pictures though and super cute animals. One day I will be able to make these!

Great book. This was my first time needle felting and I did a rendition of the Siamese cat. I didn't have any plastic eyes, so I felted them instead. Prior to starting, I watched a YouTube video to learn the basics of needle felting. The animals are adorable and I look forward to making more.

This is a great book with step by step instructions for making 30 small pets. What I like most is that there are full-size parts printed for each pet. You can create parts, referring to full-size parts diagram as a reference. This eliminates the guess work and all of your little critters feet are the same size. In addition, there is a material list for each animal.

This lovely book is for beginners and folks who want to improve their needle felting skills. The instructions are very clear and are also supported by helpful drawings and pictures. This is definitely a great "how to do it" book. If you are a beginner or just want information about the needle felting process, this is one of the most complete hands-on book I have seen.

The animals are really cute, expect mostly pets, there are not too many woodland animals. The fact that the photographic pictures are in another section of the book is just stupid. I' tempted to rip apart the entire book just to not have to turn back and forth. Also the photographic directions would be much much better if they had some contrast. Small photos of white felting on a white background. My other big complaint is the fact that they don't really list the supplies very well. The author doesn't list the gauge floral wire nor do they list the type of plastic eyes, they just list the size and it wasn't until I I ordered all the supplies and started felting that I realized the cats take button eyes? Besides that I learned a lot as a beginner.

This book has a very pretty design and is very easy to understand and good to learn the art of needle felting, I really liked it.

I am learning how to create a stuffed animal using the needle felting method. This book is obvious and uses many photos, making me understand how to do it. It is a wonderful book.
