Great product! 8 g dietary fiber per 1/2 cup (45 g), not 4 g
This is a really great product. I love its taste, texture and quick cooking! Also, it's a good value.Unfortunately, there's a misprint on the label about dietary fiber content. I contacted Yupik, and here's their reply:"Thank you so much for your kind words about our Organic Barley Flakes — we're thrilled you enjoy the taste, texture, and convenience! You’re absolutely right to point this out. There is, in fact, an error in the fiber content listed for product P31002 – Organic Barley Flakes .The correct dietary fiber content should be 8g per 45g serving , not 4g as previously stated. This information will be corrected on our website, packaging, and all relevant materials moving forward. We truly appreciate your attention to detail and thank you for helping us improve our product labeling. If you have any more questions or need help with anything else, feel free to reach out — we’re always happy to assist!Warm regards,InesCustomer Satisfaction Team "

Great for overnight "oats"
These are really great quality barley flakes, I'm enjoying them as a replacement for oats (which sadly I am sensitive to) in overnight oats. I mix the barley flakes with a small amount each of ground flax seeds, chia seedscoconut flakes cranberries, raisins, carob chips and a few roasted cashews and almond milk in a mason jar and leave overnight in the fridge. Delicious!

Wonderful breakfast cereal
I love it! I'm allergic to oats, so no oatmeal on a cold morning for me. Boo. I found this product several months ago. It cooks up on the stove very quickly, and has the same texture as oatmeal. I doctor mine up with flax seeds, chia seeds, cinnamon, pecan, peanut butter, various fruits (fresh or dried), etc. I add milk at the end of the cooking stage (2 minutes or so) and let it sit for 15 minutes to let the flavors meld. That's it! Breakfast in less than 5 minutes of active cooking.

Nutritious
I recently tried Barley Flakes, and I’m impressed vegan, and kosher flakes are made from whole barley grains that are steamed, rolled, and lightly roasted, giving them a delightful nutty flavor. They serve as a fantastic alternative to oats, making them perfect for breakfast bowls or baked goods. I particularly appreciate their nutritional benefits, as they are an excellent source of fiber and iron. The texture is just right light and fluffy when cooked, yet still hearty enough to add substance to my meals. I’ve used them in everything from smoothies to cookies, and they’ve added a unique twist to my recipes.its for anyone looking to incorporate healthy grains into their diet.

Delicious cold, on salad cooked and seasoned, delicious hot
Have hot with items just like potatoes, buttered are great for many. Have it under stir fry or stroganoff for the fiber, whole grain thing. Season or eat plain for breakfast or a meal
