Makes a great gift!
I bought this set as a Christmas gift for my father-in-law. I love the man to death, but he is a Nervous Nelly when it comes to glasses or cups on surfaces. He is constantly moving my glass or my son's glass in the middle of dinner or if he THINKS a glass is in the line of fire, he practically jumps across the table to save it; which usually results in HIM knocking it over or spilling it or almost knocking the greenbean bowl out of your hands. I thought this was the PERFECT gag gift, but also something that he would enjoy, as he is a Glenlivet fan.I used Amazon Prime to get this set just in time for Christmas (I was trying to find a gift for the man in the twelfth hour), and the package arrived on Christmas Eve (around 2 pm) as promised. The packaging itself was very sturdy and all glasses wrapped in paper; however I thought that perhaps some Styrofoam lining the inside would have been smart. No matter. All glasses were intact and the box is surprisingly heavy for their size and shape. Again, not a big deal. My son and I tried out one of the glasses, just to see how it worked and the glass does NOT tip over, it has just the right amount of rocking motion. Also, the small Sagaform stickers on the glasses DOES come off, you just have to peel them off and then maybe use a little Goo-Gone to remove the residue. On Christmas morning, we went to the grandparents to exchange gifts and do breakfast, and we insisted they open their gifts first. My FIL was very excited upon unwrapping the box to see VERY nice whiskey glasses and the look on his face told me that we picked a winner. Then we took it a step further and my son asks to fill one of the glasses up with water so 'Poppa can have something to drink out of it'; he places the glass on their glass coffee table (not quite on the edge either) and immediately the glass begins rocking and my FIL instantly springs into action to 'save' the liquid. I immediately burst into laughter and once he realizes that the glass will not tip over, a look of total confusion and amusement comes across his face. Everyone LOVED the glasses and he could not stop laughing and talking about how we finally got him good.

Great gift idea, very unique glasses :)
I bought two cases to give as gifts this holiday season. One set went to a close friend of mine and the other to my father (both are big fans of the whiskey ;) and they were very well received. As another reviewer pointed out, they have started shipping these glasses with the 'Sagaform' logo affixed to the top of the rim. This isn't displayed in any of the merchants photos and at first glance, the logo does not appear to be something that can be removed though it has been confirmed for me by two other reviewers that the logos are indeed stickers that can be removed with a little elbow grease. I was told that using a blowdryer to heat the decal helps in its removal (though my father stated he liked the sticker and was going to keep it on at least for now). The glasses are the perfect size for serving whiskey in, though they could be used for other beverages as well - preferably something to be sipped on as these are smaller glasses (ie - they wouldn't make good water glasses for the table). It's a bit more impressive when left to rest on a hard surface because on a table cloth, it kind of just flops over to a slant without much rocking motion to enjoy but it still makes for a unique conversation piece. The box the glasses come in is very sturdy and each of the glasses are separated by cardboard compartments and are individually wrapped in paper. All of the glasses arrived in perfect condition.Would highly recommend this item as a gift or something to buy for your self - I just wish that they didn't start adding their branding/logo to the glasses. Although my father thought it looked nice, I didn't care for it at all, but maybe that's just because I had already formed an expectation of what I should have received. Branding aside, I do plan on purchasing a set for my own use in the near future.

Quirky and Fun
I love to imbibe from appropriate glassware, and I was looking for a set of rocks glasses from which to sip my bourbon. These guys showed up and they are delightful. They're a little bit like the bop-it-type punching bags you may have used as a kid: even though they tip, they won't knock over, because they're weighted in such a way that they always return upright. The glass seems to be of acceptable quality. That they naturally rest at an angle makes them very interesting and fun. They're not for you if you're looking for a traditional set of fancy-pants rocks glasses, but with a set of 6 you can serve all your friends your favorite dark liquor in cool little conversation pieces. The only negative is that they could stand to be a little larger - I can foresee someone who takes a lot of ice with his or her libation being disappointed at the volume. Perfect for me, though, as I tend to take my bourbon neat or with just 2 or 3 ice cubes.
