This is the fence and it is thicker than the net we ordered. The fence we used to in cage our chickens. It's working well for that so far. We don't have it in direct sunlight and we have added to the top of it to make it taller, but it's very effective for chickens. It was easy to work with and you can easily use zip ties to the posts, it looks nice, and for the past 5 months we haven't had a tare or anything malfunctioning. It is thick, durable, and there's many uses you can use this for. Great alternative to regular chicken wire.

I used this Tenax poultry fence to block the rails on my balcony to prevent my dog from falling through. It is super sturdy and good quality. I secured it to the railing with zip ties. It is somewhat stiff because it is a sturdy, thick material, but it bends enough to mold it around balcony rails without much effort. It is easy to cut with a decent pair of scissors. You can definitely secure your balcony with less thick, and less expensive materials, like a light mesh, but I prefer this poultry fence because it is a lot more sturdy than the mesh and fabric material advertised to use on patio rails, so I have no worries whatsoever that my dog will slip out. In fact, after I did my first balcony I had to buy more material to finish my second one, which is longer. This poultry fence was going to take a few extra days to ship and I wanted it right away, so I bought the Tenax multipurpose plastic netting instead as it delivered the next day. While that worked also, it wasn’t anywhere near the sturdiness of this poultry fence. And it had a lot more space (“holes”) in between the plastic material. I did use it and it works too, but I just really prefer the thickness of the poultry fence for peace of mind. As shown in my photos, the poultry fence blends into railings well and doesn’t block the view. So if you’re got balcony railings you need to secure for your dog’s or cat’s safety, put this in your cart right now and get it, there’s no need to look further. This is the best stuff.

Love this chicken fencing. Easy to maneuver, cut and install. I put the entire thing together with zip ties for a temporary chicken run for the baby chicks. Going to work perfectly. This seems really durable and a great alternative to galvanized chicken wire which I really hate to work with. Can't wait to use it for other projects and I will definitely be purchasing more of it in the future. Would highly recommend. I might even replace my galvanized fencing with this.. it depends on how it holds up over the yrs so I'll have to give an update once it's been used for a while. Great product and price!
