We have found a NEW box for the food packs. These corrugated plastic boxes are made to fit the Kondos Outdoors Outfitter Special, Large Food Pack and Equipment Pack. Some folks like putting it into a #3.5 Pack for some shape and to make the pack easier to work out of. The box set is priced to include the lid. These boxes are light weight, can fold flat when not in use and scrubable. The box holds the shape of your pack and is not as ridged as hard inserts so your packs take less wear and tear on the bottoms. A ridged container and rough rocks can be abrasive on the fabric. This is a great alternative.
