Owen Mumford Unistik 3 Safety Lancets (28G), 100 Count

These are the best one-shot lancet devices I have used. I like these a little better than the Acti-Lance as they seem to hurt a lot less when they prick your finger, and they also store so easily.. I just leave the open box with the top cut off on my bedside table, making taking my blood sugar really easy and convenient.These are easy to take along when traveling, and they work with ANY meter (some lancet devices take different stickers, making it difficult to keep it straight which ones you need - these work with anything... they are self-contained!!) .. I have purchased these several times and will continue to use them.

I used these lancets for a home glucose test. I found that they produced a blood sample more than adequate for the test I performed. I didn’t feel any pain from the needle, and in fact the sound was more frightening than the actual stick from the thin needle inside. But I find that to be the case with most lancing devices. The push button lever takes a good amount of pressure to release. This would only be a potential issue for those, like myself, who are nervous about performing this procedure.

The item was perfect!

Mom has a hard time with needles, but these lancers are small and are easy to use. She can quickly prick her finger and get a good sample for her blood glucose meter. She needs these daily and won't check her blood without them.

Being a dibetic, 20 years plus, these finger stick devices are the best ones I have ever used. As I earn my living working with my hands, I have tough skin to contend with. Alternate site testing is not as accurate as finger stick method. Thank you for a fine product that does its job well.

All of my samples are taken from my fingers so I cannot address alternate site comfort or effectiveness. I was using the 30g but no one had them on Amazon so I settled for this. It is very smooth and effective never need to try another site when it strikes I get the required sample and more with very little discomfort. If I could do 4.5 stars I would; heck if I could do a comparison I might not even be able to tell one from the other. They do take up more room in the sharps container but my comfort is worth it.

They are a great value for the money.

Bought these for my mum after discovering them during her recent stay in hospital. They are are so much easier to use, and less painful, for my mum than the multiclix pen / lancing device that she was given by the GP practice. Good value for money too. Happy to buy these for my mum and save the GP surgery a few £s.

Seems to be alright. Worth buying if you need these things.
