Antique Trader Bottles Identification & Price Guide Paperback – September 10, 2012

It provides decent information on some older bottles 1800's thru about 1915, but only the rarer more expensive ones.It provides no historical information about each bottle, only a description and pricing. Also provides info on newer (vintage) bottles like Jim Beam whiskey bottles, Ezra Brooks whiskey, Avon bottles, miniature whiskey bottles, soda bottles, Violin & Banjo bottles. All the pictures are good quality and in color. If you're an average Joe (Jane) collector trying to identify a bottle that you dug up in the back yard this book probably won't help you.

Purchased for a friend that collects bottles.

I really like this book. It has many pictures, all in color, to use for referencing and research. Very detailed information, as well as a wealth of ways to determine glass bottle dating in the beginning of the book. I am extremely happy I added this book to my collection to aide in my hobby of antique glass bottle collecting.

I got this as a gift. My brother works in a bottle glass plant.

A very good book, but unfortunately did not have any of my bottles listed.

The book covers it's subject well, but buyer beware the content is almost exclusively bottles from the USA with prices in dollars.

Good book. Lots of content. Found some of the information I needed for my Dissertation in here. I'm not a collector so not interested in the values.
