Seals like a pro
Used Permatex High-Temp Red RTV Silicone Gasket Maker on my Dodge Ram 1500, and it’s a beast! Applied it to my oil pan, and it sealed tight, no leaks, even under towing stress. The 650°F temp resistance handled my engine’s heat like a champ. Easy to apply, cures fast, and resists oil and fluids. A reliable, affordable fix for my truck’s tough jobs!

The media could not be loaded. This product works well for me to make my candles.

Great sealant
Flawless victory. No really, used the product to make a needed RTV seal for a furnace blower install and did the job perfectly. This one sets immediately so be quick on the install.

Good stuff.. I used it with my bicycle flat liners to fix the soles of shoes that are otherwise good
except for a hole in them. I fixed two pairs of shoes with large hole the size of a quarter that I would have thrown out so that's $60 is shoes saved for $7. I had to use the bike liner to bridge the gap. So far they've held up. I have plenty left to spare for automotive use.. It's the best brand to make gaskets with. You just have to follow the recommendations.. It is nasty stuff so you might want to wear gloves and even a mask.. I didn't but I was very careful with it and the chemical smell is nasty.. This stuff has a lot of chemicals in it that are not good on the skin or for the body but if you have good air and not using a lot you'll be fine. Wash it off fast if you get in on your skin. I'm going to use it next to fix a small hole in an $100 dollar air mattress once I find the leak. So this will save me $160 so far.. I will have plenty left to do my fuel injectors.. again saving more $100's dollars not having to go to a mechanic and having Amazon Prime.. It's worth paying the fee once a year to get 1 day service.. But as for the brand it is the best brand I've used.. I always get the high heat version. It just works better and doesn't break down even in other applications where high heat isn't involved.
