High quality
The size is perfect for travelling or beginners. The paper is quite thick and absorbs water well, no bleeding unless you try to do so with a lot of water.I have just realised now, the paper is double sided. This means it can be used on either or both sides!! One side is strong cold pressed (strong texture) and the other soft. I love both! Dry on dry or wet on dry has more defined texture on the stronger side and softer less visible texture on the other side. For wet on wet, I'd say stick to the very textured side so the bumps in the paper can catch your excess water.Colours look great and vibrant, so no tint on the paper, it's brilliantly white. This is a huge bargain for great quality! I'm very happy with it.

Quality watercolour pad
Bought this pad a while ago - I specifically wanted an A6 watercolour pad (A6 is what most recognise as the ‘postcard’ size) to make little Christmas ‘cards’ that could be framed for friends and family. Each sheet presents the opportunity to use either the smooth or textured side, both of which provide the surface required according to the art work you’re wanting to do, and given the weight (300g) the paper is suitable for watercolours, acrylics, oils, inks.My preference is inks, though I have used acrylic for some of the stuff I’ve done, and the surface does stand up to to being a bit wet. I’ve never flooded any one sheet so I can’t say how the paper dries if you apply too much water, though being honest I wouldn’t expect it to buckle as the paper quality is very good. The photos were done using inks, and though the inks weren’t the most expensive on the market, you can see that the paper provides a great base, and the colour vibrancy is clear.I’ve almost gone through the 60 sheets, and I will be buying another pad - I’ve also used it for on-the-hoof sketches as it’s a convenient size to throw in my rucksack, though sketching on 300g paper might be a little overkill 😊Definitely worth buying, great price, quality paper.

Perfect size for Postcard paintings, or those who love Small Sized!
I hadn't tried this pack of paper before but it was an affordable price and came at a size which didn't need me to measure and cut larger paper to size. Straight away I loved it for this reason. It's a generous post card size - not a small size. And because of it's generous measurements it has worked in two ways for me. It enables me to paint in it's given size, but also to split the paper in two (across the shortest side) and paint in small or miniature to put behind a mount. One of my favourite ways to paint! The size and it's ability to be cut down is also be ideal for those who, like me, like to create ACEO's or ATC's.(ACEO- Art Cards, Editions and Originals . . . . . and: ATC - Artist Trading Cards)The paper is textured, and has great absorbency. However, in some circumstances I prefer a flatter paper, so simply turn the paper over and use the back, which is very flat. It works! (It's probably not what they teach you in art school, but I say if it works for you then that's OK!)It comes with a small sized water pen/brush - which you can fill with clear water and then, when you're ready to wake up your paints, you simply squeeze and let the water flow into the brush so that you can paint. It's a great size for packing and taking with you wherever you go, and because of it's small size, it's perfect for popping into a bag along with your paints and your favourite brushes, pencil and maybe a pot of water.I like this pad a lot, and would most certainly buy it again. Now I ask a favour . . . Perfect size for hand-drawn postcards!
I use these to draw postcards of my boyfriend’s family for this Christmas and they were perfect. I was drawing multiple family members at once on multiple pages and it never seeped through. It’s thick and lousy to blend with water multiple times. Would you recommend!
