I am a mechanical engineer by profession and was an expert for BBC Watchdog and sworn to honesty. I tend to research a product drilling down into the quality and value of the item before I buy. I am not paid for my reviews and have no personal gain from them. I have tried many foils from many outlets including Amazon. This is a heavy duty foil nearly half a meter wide. It is at least double the thickness of a standard supermarket wrapping foil from say Tesco or Sainsbury. It has a massive length (100 meters) and subsequently has a massive box, so make sure you have a place to put it before you order. The box is super strong and the roll sits in two plastic end mounts. I took a chance and ordered used but good for a substantial discount. The box was a bit tired, but the foil was unused with its little adhesive strip still intact. After strengthening the box with parcel tape it was good to go. The box has a nice metal tear strip that works very well. Join two pieces together with a small folded joint and you will be able to wrap the largest turkey. This will last us for at least a year I imagine. Excellent value for money and quality beyond what you expect. What's not to like, go buy!

Pros: the foil is of a very high quality and very thick. Comes with plastic rollers on each end for ease of use or unrolling. 100 meters will last a long time when you compare it to the cheap supermarket brands that tear a lot, leading to wasted foil. Although the price may be high, in the long run you will save money.Cons: the package is a little heavy. The Amazon shipping label said 2kg but I would estimate it as more than that. Being of this weight means that it isn't really meant to be quickly put into a cupboard and taken out. Also the elderly may find it a little too much to move around.The shipping needs to be improved but I won't lower my score just for that. There was tape on the box itself which lead to stripping of the product packaging of it's print and slight damage to the box but none to the foil itself.Overall. As previously mentioned, the foil is of the best quality I have ever used but people need to bear in mind that it's not a very portable product. Leaving it in one place in your kitchen would be the best idea. Will definitely buy again once this 100m runs out in around 2 years. My only wish is that it was packaged for shipping better. Definitely a 5 star product.

Good, heavy duty foil, easy to cut on the dispenser. This has never failed and does not tear easily. Great size, we now use nothing else.

Best foil ever, very thick and sturdy, well packaged, lasts forever so it's very economical. This is durable and can be used to wrap literally anything.

Have bought this many times and it can't be beaten. Unfortunately Amazons delivery is not good. Although I amended deliver instructions to leave with a neighbour, this was totally ingnored. The driver decided to through this, plus 2 other items over a 6ft hgh gate. This damaged the roll inside the box rendering it useless. So had to be returned. This is not the first time this has happened with my deliveries. The on-line delivery info even said it was handed to the customer.Need to order this again but might have to look for an alternate supplier.

This is by far the thickest foil I've ever used. It's massive and heavy too. So consider that for storage. It's never ripped or leaked anything during cooking, unlike some other lightweight foils that have. It's a bit on the expensive side, but not too bad when you compare it against some supermarket brands. The ripping blade is sharp and does the job.
