George Perez: Storyteller

If you're a Perez fan, this is a good book to have. One thing i didn't realize when i bought this book was its age. It basically stops just after JLA/Avengers comes out and talks about New Teen Titans:Games as if it will probably never come out. An updated version which would cover up to his retirement and include more illustrations(There's a lot of artwork in here but it just scratched the surface) and i'd give it 5 stars.

This is my FAVORITE ARTIST EVER! George Perez is where I get my inspiration and talent to draw. How do I feel about purchasing this book you asked? It is an honor to have it in my possession.

Filled with a lot of inside knowledge and drawings from the beginning to newer work. Was in wonderful condition, Very happy to include this book into my library.

Great book for not only comic collectors but for people who do not know that much about the genre. I have brought it in to my students (high school) and they also enjoy looking at the artwork and story lines.

I found George Perez: Storyteller to be an interesting exploration of Perez's career. It was great to see the early art and to read about the struggles he has faced in his career.I wish that they had put in more of the original art from the first go at Avengers/JLA and from the actual JLA/Avengers comic. It would have also been good to have either the author or a contributor dissect Perez's storytelling style, especially for action sequences.In all, this is a great book and I look forward to seeing an updated edition (to include content about Legion of 3 Worlds?!)

I got this book for a friend who is a graphic designer and has a comic book appreciation. WHo better than George Perez? No one. Easy transaction.

Book by one of the best. I bought this book due to his retirement this year.
