I banged out 88 pages of this scrapbook in 18 hours over the course of two days. Suffice to say, I’m well acquainted with this product. This is the first time I used a scrapbook that has the extra pages; I’m a bit indifferent as it is an extra thing to worry about in order to ensure they don’t get bent while flipping through the book. Now… if I had been using this book for old family photos, I imagine there would be more excitement and appreciation for the extra wax paper between the pages. And even now I do think it will be helpful to preserve the 3D stickers I placed on nearly all the pages. The page quality is fantastic. You have to be very careful when tacking down photos onto the pages as it is very thick stock, so it may rip up a layer of paper if you place and move the adhesive too much… that’s not a bad thing, IMO as it speaks to the quality of the pages. The price for the product seems very appropriate; the book is very appealing aesthetically and I did not get a sense of an overwhelming smell. The size is fantastic, even though I usually do a 12x12 for my scrapbooks, I like these proportions enough to get another one in the future. And finally, the versatility… really this book is as versatile as you are creative. I can think of 100 ideas off the top of my head for this book. I highly recommend!

I'm using it for a gift and it looks great, even the box it comes in is durable. The pages are very thick and sturdy and I like the clear thin page between each page as it will keep the pictures safe from sticking to each other. The leather is nice, no imperfections. The leather is a darker color than it looks in the picture, but it is still a nice color. For best results I think you should use the double sided photo squares or the photo corners to affix the photos to each page.

This photo album is a great value. It is visually stunning. Paper is of a heavy weight and wonderful quality. The leather is flawless and beautiful. Page protectors are wonderful for keeping photos safe - though they do take a bit of getting used to if you've never owned an album with them before. I was really impressed with the overall quality of this purchase - beautiful packaging, fantastic product, and it will be enjoyed for years to come. Would make a wonderful album, scrapbook, or gift.

Turns out this company is actually Rustic Ridge - "Houder Products." They claim to be based in Iowa, but when I asked if their products are made in USA they cancelled the message thread without responding. This was after I bought two of their leather albums! Couldn't even bother to answer me! This is a clear indication they don't want people to know that they import and are likely selling leather produced cheap in other countries. All they had to do was respond to my query but they couldn't be bothered. And so, here we are.

I searched for nearly 5 months to find the perfect album to hold my 400+ photos of my most recent vacation to Los Angeles. I saw some pretty breathtaking things and wanted a very specific type of album to showcase my photos with pride and elegance. After searching for quite some time, I came upon this album after watching a scene from a movie that had a very similar photo album shown. After debating for a while if I should spend this much money on a photo album, I finally bit the bullet and purchased one. Needless to say, it was the best money I have ever spent! The album is absolutely beautifully made. It was created with such pride and it definitely shows in the craftsmanship. I just completed compiling my album and I could not be happier! It actually does fit 400 photos and it doesn't look overstuffed but simply full. I definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to purchase a gorgeous photo album that you will cherish for years to come!

This looks and is sized exactly as depicted. Was looking for something with MANY pages, and protective sheets between them. There are 48 sheets, 2 sided, for total of 96. One reviewer complained the pages were canary yellow? Not so. The pages are a creamy white- yellow, and quite neutral. The leather cover is really nice...and I found no smells! Really nicely packaged too. Perfect for my photo album project.

This is our third of the same album purchase! We LOVE these albums. They are absolutely stunning. Our first was purchased for our wedding pictures as my husband didn't want a tacky photo album sitting around. This one is far from tacky- it's very tasteful and looks great as a 'coffee table' book. Our second album was purchased as a photo album for our son- something he will love to have later in life! Our third purchase was just this week for making memories of our new little girl. Thank YOU Rustic Ridge for another beautiful album! ADDITIONAL NOTE- This album does fit 8x10 landscape photos just fine! I hadn't seen any reviews stating that they fit 8x10 photos, so you know they do just fine!

The album meets my needs perfectly. I wanted a scrapbook type of album for photos and other memorabilia from our month long trip. The size is large enough to accommodate a variety of photo layouts and the large number of photos I wanted to display. I am using a glue stick to position the photos. Most seem to stick pretty well. The pages are more yellow than off- white. But my photos look ok on it. Not super fancy, but made well enough to do the job.
