I have never experienced a flavor of literally anything, including a pre-workout (it’s that bad, I can include anything I’ve ever tasted in my entire life) that was so offensive to my tastebuds. It is so awful, I had to wait about 10 minutes for the queasy feeling to subside before I could even get ready for my workout.On to the effects - I may as well have drank a la croix before hand, it was that useless. The queasy feeling in my stomach decided to make an encore appearance towards the end of my 60 min peloton ride which was a *fun* surprise.Run, don’t walk away from this truly horrific product. You may as well flush your $ down the toilet because at least it might give you a bit of a rush that’s more effective than this garbage

Was very excited to try this, however was disappointed when I opened the bottle it is half empty. The smell and taste is horrendous and is so hard to swallow... It did gave me the jump start I was looking for but the taste makes it really hard to drink, and a really bad experience... Will try finishing it since I can’t just throw it away but will definitely not buy again! So disappointed 😞

Great ingredients. Works great. Helps me conquer 5 am fasted workouts every day. The taste is tart, not super sweet but I prefer that to chemicals or too much sugar. Will definitely purchase again.

4.5 STARS -- So, full disclosure -- I NEVER buy any products that have artificial sweeteners or artificial flavors, so perhaps my palate is more used to "natural" products, but I actually really LIKE the way this tastes. It's slightly creamy, a little tart and has a nice fruit-punch-like flavor. I also mix mine with 24oz of water. (Not because of the flavor, but because a little extra hydration is always a good thing.)In addition to the taste being quite pleasant, I find that the results are amazing. I can run faster, cycle harder, lift more and recover better. All in one pleasant little package.I am subtracting 1/2 a star because the scoop that comes with the package is WAY too big for the serving size. I measure EVERYTHING, and I have found that if I fill the scoop flat, it consistently weighs 18g instead of the 13g per scoop (26g per serving) that is listed on the nutritional label. As such, that brings it down to 10 servings per container rather than 14. That's a 25% difference in the amount that you are supposed to consume vs the amount that you are ACTUALLY consuming. Perhaps a bit nit-picky, but when you are measuring/counting macros, even that little bit every day can make a big difference. I've adjusted by filling the scoop to about the 75% mark or using 1.5 scoops instead of two.I honestly wish VP would make their products in larger more cost effective packages. I'd easily buy one that had 45 servings in it instead of just 14.

I bought this thinking grape lemonade sounded different for pre-workout and much better than typical flavors. I was wrong. I had to come back and read other reviews with flavor issues to be sure I didnt just use a dirty cup somehow. Do not buy this. I will never buy this again. Crush a bunch of pills and put them in water...that's this drink. Honestly the only comparison I can think of for how this tastes.

So. I will say I did feel a nice little increase in energy when I drank this. However, the flavor is horrendous. It didn’t seem to blend very well either. Even after shaking it in my blender bottle for a while. I’m going to finish this product and choke it down, but I won’t be buying it again based on how it tastes.

This did nothing for me. I'm caffeine sensitive, and two scoops of this had zero effect! For comparison, I can only take 1 Excedrin for a headache otherwise it makes me jittery, and the only other caffeine I consume is in green tea. I literally feel asleep after taking this. I liked the taste, but I prefer as little flavor as possible so others may not find it favorable. The worst part is I'm stuck with it, because it's non refundable.
