I love this book because it has all sides of bullying from the watching it happen to doing it.
Just got this book read it was my son last night and I'm really impressed with it. When I first started reading through it I was a little disappointed because it didn't seem like he was getting much emotional intuitive thoughts within the book even though there are few. When they got to the back and it had lots of activities to work on emotional stuff in different points of view for every character that was in there coming from that character even the bully. This was great because my son actually identified with the bully more than the other children because he has a really hard time listening and he gets in trouble a lot. Sometimes he's unintentionally cruel to kids or people because he's autistic and he doesn't really realize he's being annoying or not listening to someone's emotional response. I feel like he sells somewhere between the victim in the bully and him getting to hear both sides was really crucial to him understanding things. It has games to play at the end even though my son wasn't too interactive with them he did listen to them as we read them out and I went over the.

Great book on how to deal with bullying.
Great story on bullying. Read it to my 5th grade class and we enjoyed discussing it. I like that its part of a series and that the illustrator included the characters from other books in this one. My students recognized the girl in the book "Weird" and pointed her out. Glad I bought it.

Great Supplement for Group Therapy with Tweens
As a therapist that does many groups with youth, I'm always looking for books that can hone in on certain topics and bullying is a big one. This book has great graphics and the story is phenomenal. I've primarily used this book with tweens and it always gets a great response from the group members and really gets the discussion going.

Great for Counselors!
I used this book in classroom guidance, small group, and individuals. I love that it provides a male perspective. It also does a great job of showing how bullying affects the target and how the target can take their power back. I love all of their books.

Awesome book
This was such an awesome book for my 7 & 9 year old. It applies to real life situations. Then explains how to work through the tough moments. Even better - it talks about each character. It’s not just “don’t listen to the bully’s mean words”, it’s more, and goes a bit deeper.

Enjoy yourself, ignore negativity!
This book was on the United Methodist Women's Reading List, suggested forChildren. As my grandchildren, ages 10 and 13, are readers in the program, it was purchased for them. They liked the idea of ignoring the bully and not being influenced by him/her.

Love!
I absolutely love this book! The story of Thomas realistically illustrates what kind of bullying happens in school. My professional goal is to be proactive in bullying prevention because it's much more effective than being reactive when bullying occurs. I am using this story for my 3rd grade lesson plan in bullying prevention. Not does it cover the theme of social injustice, but it will address the standard of character descriptions and motivations.
