Useful, fashionable, a little weak but no big deal, does not fit in zipper cases
Very fashionable and smooth feel, but the plastic hinge connecting the upper and lower part at the outsides are quite weak. Both sides broke after 1 month of intense use, 9 months of not using at all, and my recent 1 week of playing. The upper and lower parts are still attached well, so it's not a big problem, but I just feel a little bad for it breaking.One big problem is that it makes the 3DS slightly bigger that it does not fit in a 3ds zipper case. Try to buy a larger case, or you have to really squeeze it inside.

It's pretty cheap and comes with useless screen protectors.
So I'd just like to get this out of the way first and foremost - what you see in the picture is not what you get. It's pretty similar overall, but the pictures are of a different case (probably the standard size 3DS version).The case is plastic with a thin aluminum skin glued to it. The fit between the plastic and metal on my case is not good, and the bottom is appearing to delaminate already even though it is brand new. The included screen protectors are for the standard size 3DS and not the XL, so they're completely useless to me.I'd avoid this.

Great case
Great case, only thing I dont like are the hinges.This is good for everyday use, it's not too bulky and protects the 3DS against wear and tear. However, this case is not meant as a shock absorber if dropped. Other than that, great case.

What ever you do, DO NOT BUY this case!!! I hadit on my DS for a while and the hindge broke off so I decided to buy a new one, so when I took this one off I realized how much damaged it caused my Zelda limited addition DS!! I was so furious when I saw how bad it was all over I bought it so stuff like that wouldn't happen to it and all it did was the exact opposite!! Every time I look at my DS it just makes me angry for buying this piece of junk >:( anyways you've been warned!!.
