Works Great with Home Assistant & ConBee II
I have a number of Smart Home items - all lighting is Philips Hue using a ZigBee network and a Philips Hue Hub, and other sensors (temp, humidity, lighting levels, door & window sensors, smart sockets etc) use the WiFi network. All of this runs via Home Assistant on a Raspberry Pi 4.I needed a simple way of toggling some items on or off without asking Alexa to do it. After much research, I came across this small button. I went with ZigBee, rather than a WiFi-based solution as ZigBee is supposed to be more power efficient, and provide greater battery longevity and I had a ConBee II USB stick on the Raspberry Pi which could pick up the ZigBee network. It is straightforward to set up in Home Assistant. I installed ZHA integration first (it will work with DeConz and Zigbee2MQTT too) and then I just removed the small, plastic insulating tab from the mini-switch which enabled the battery to connect. A long press on the small reset switch on the top of the unit whilst the ZHA integration in Home Assistant was scanning and it popped up on my screen in about a second. I saved the settings, and then it was a simple case of adding automation in HA to allow it to do what I wanted. HA also shows the battery level as a percentage too - handy!!I only set up a simple toggle on/off to operate a remote smart plug. It appears (in HA at any rate) that there are three modes of operation which can be recognised and assigned.1. Single press - working great2. Quick double-press - not tried3. Long press - not triedThe flexibility of use within HA is down to the imagination of the user. So far (a couple of days in) I am impressed with this little switch. It is quite unobtrusive, and a useful addition to a smart home set-up that requires simple control functions.Would I buy another one?? Yes, without question, if and when the need arises, and from my experience of Home Assistant it is probably easier to set up than the similarly priced TRADFRI ZigBee-based, shortcut button from IKEA.

Excellent product
The Aqara Wireless Mini Switch is the ninja of smart home gadgets. It's so discreet and unassuming, you might just forget it's there—until you need to turn off the lights without getting out of your cosy bed, that is. With a tap, double-tap, or a long press, it leaps into action, controlling your smart devices like a well-trained tech butler. And with its Zigbee connection, it responds faster than a cat chasing a laser pointer. Just make sure to keep it away from actual ninjas; they might mistake it for a new-fangled throwing star.

Love them.
I have a few of these around the house. Makes controlling scenes and devices easy within HomeKit.Up to 3 button combinations allow to control things really simply. Best if you have one next to the bed so you don’t have to talk tk siri

Compact size and reliable
Small size and convenient switch. Pairs fine with Home Assistant running ZHA.I did need to import a blueprint into Home Assistant to get it to work properly.HA sees it as "lumi.remote.b1acn01" and initially categorises it as a battery monitor for some reason. However, simple blueprint import to HA allows creation of automation routines with it as a switch, as intended. Can use single press and long press functionality.

Reliable little mini switch with Home Assistant
This button / switch has been great, I've purchased quite a few different brands over the years and Aqara has become my go-to brand more recently. The quality, price and reliability work just right for me.This button is no different, works just as you'd expect. Battery life seems very good, and has worked reliably with Conbee II both directly installed on Home Assistant and installed via zigbee2mqtt.I know many of the Aqara products mention the hub is required but I've used various products over the years and they seem to connect to Zigbee hubs just like any other Zigbee device.

Great product
Linked to the hub easily though the app. The device is small and can be hidden if needed . It preforms tasks with a single press ,double press or a long press which use to control a fan . I will definitely be getting more of these . There also great value for money

Super Simple and Super Reliable!
This has been a reliable button for the past few years. I attached it to my wife's bedside table and one click now closes all the bedroom blinds and sets the lights to her favourite relaxing scene. In the morning, a double click opens all the bedroom blinds again! Simple, easy to use, super reliable and integrates nicely with HomeKit too!

Works fine but does not support binding
I bought this to control some lights. It does this fine with the help of Home Assistant. I had hoped to Bind this to the lights directly so that it all happens in Zigbee without the need of a separate server to link the "switch pressed" event to the "switch on lights" action - a technique called "Binding". Very surprised it's not supported in a switch like this.
