Avoid the vet
Great for your furry child with urinary track condition. It helps with avoiding the development of crystals in the track. It has helped me with the veterinary visits. He hasn’t had any problems.

My sweet fatty baby got bored with his (very) expansive Hills RX UTI food, even with a variety of toppers, like shredded chicken.I am not a fan of food "fillers" like peas, corn, wheat, or gluten. My search lead me back to these newly available over the counter non prescription foods from Royal Canin and Purina. Purina had better ingredients and my baby loves it. He will eat any flavor, though the shredded ones seem to be his two favorite ones.And the best is that the food transition was smooth and he's not had any urinal blockages since switching brands.

Works and cost effective
Rather than spend tons of money on urinary food this helped when my male cat had crystals in his urine. Fed him 1-2 cases and retested and he was good. Use the urine ph gel on occassion in his regular food now just to keep things from building up.

Great for urinary issue cats
My cat had PKU surgery 3 years ago and I struggle with the expensive rx kind this is a “filler” for me and he loves it and we have had no issues

Started our kitties on this after a vet suggested it & what a difference in our kitties fur, urine smell is far less & no more "accidents" outside of litter box. I give them a small can each morning. Use same brand dry during the day.

Research product
I would not buy this product if your cat has a urinary tract issues because it did nothing for our cat. The cat was not big on the taste of Proplan so in the future I will not purchase this product. Proplan prices are pretty high. I would do your research on how much the product really helps with the Urinary tract before purchasing any food for your cat. Proplan was not a sucess in our house with out cat.
