Couldn't ask for better 10/10
I purchased this because I have a dachshund who developed IVDD and HATES being in a crate. He typically destroys crates in order to get out and ends up further hurting himself. This crate is absolutely Houdini proof. It is not only extremely sturdy but it is well thought out. The top lifting allows you to lift an injured dog without having to maneuver them through the door. It also allows you to attend to them without them trying to escape. The double latches on the side door means that the door is VERY securely closed so he doesn't spend so much energy even trying to escape. The wheels allow the crate to be moved around the house with ease EXCEPT the crate is a bit wide to fit though and interior door while assembled. This is fantastic when you have a recuperating dog that wants to be near you but shouldn't be walking. There is plenty of room for my standard size dachshund to stretch out fully. Truthfully, when they're uninjured, this comfortably holds both of my dachshunds. It would easily accommodate all medium sized dogs. This is a heavy item and, while not difficult to assemble, I do feel that having two people there to put it together is helpful.Overall, this is a heavy duty, fantastic purchase that, when properly cared for, should outlast any dogs lifetime.

SAVED MY SANITY!
Otis is the best escape artist I've ever known. He has EXTREME separation anxiety. I rescued him back in December. His first cage was the typical wire cage which, I THOUGHT, was heavy-duty and sturdy and well-made (which, it was) but I had no idea what Otis was capable of!He completely destroyed the plastic tray at the bottom of the first cage. I was at my wits end with all his escaping and destroying. I came across this indestructible cage, and I read the reviews. Some of them did concern me in that some dogs have still gotten out of this cage and also hurt themselves in the process. But I was so desperate to try to make things work, I ordered it.Once it arrived and I unpacked it, I was a bit confused with it; however, the instructions were good, and I was able to get it put together within 30 minutes. I was impressed with how heavy duty it seemed, and I thought, there's no way he's getting out of this. But I still had my doubts due to some of the reviews and because I know how determined Otis is and how aggressive he is with chewing and destroying things when I'm not there. The next morning, I put him in it and locked it, praying he wouldn't somehow bust through it. When I got home, the apartment was clean, and he was still in the cage! If I'd had champagne, I'd have popped the top and celebrated! Even though it seemed to work the one day, I was still slightly doubtful because it had only been one day. Then, one day turned into a week without any escapes. Now it's been nearly a month, and he WILLINGLY goes in!I think his go-to was/is digging his way out through the bottom. Well, he can't do that with this cage because of how it's designed and because I reinforced it with zip ties which were provided with the cage. And he's tried. Oh, he's tried. I know because there were times his bed was scrunched back from digging. Also, I appreciate the wheels very much! I almost didn't install them because I figured I could slide the cage on the carpet; however, I ended up installing them and was glad I did because it glides across the carpet with ease if I need to move it. While the wheels make it easy to maneuver the cage, the cage is heavy enough that the dog can't move it. (He'd moved his wire cage from point A to point B in escaping).Otis isn't as reluctant and doesn't seem as anxious to get into this cage. Today, I didn't even have to guide him by the collar to get inside. I'm not entirely sure why this is but I'm thankful. Sometimes he'll get all the way in for a couple of seconds and then walk back out while I'm at home, and he didn't do that with his first cage.I'd tried everything I could. He destroyed his first cage. He destroyed the bathroom door and other things in the bathroom when I had to keep him in there during the transition from his first cage to this cage. No matter how bare I left the bathroom, he always found something to destroy. And if there was any way he could escape, he'd do it and create mass destruction. This cage saved my sanity and my dog from being rehomed where he most likely would have ended up back at the pound.TL;DR:Pros:*Extremely sturdy*Solid*Smart design (particularly regarding the bottom of the cage)*Easy to set up*Wheels make it easy to maneuver cage*Excellent for my dog who is an expert escape artist, an aggressive chewer, and leaves mass destruction upon escaping---HE CAN'T ESCAPE THIS ONE!Cons:*I have none!Do I recommend this cage? 1,000%! YES! Do it. Buy it. It'll be worth it.

The best dog crate you can get I promise
This is a really heavy-duty crate and has been amazing. I have a Doberman that is spoiled rotten, so I got her the biggest size, and her personality changed when we got this crate no joke. She does not whine but only when she needs to potty (we only crate her at night or when we are gone). I got her a nice, raised bed, pillow, and blankie because she loves her pillow and to be under a blankie, and she still has room to sprawl out comfortably. She has a very sensitive stomach to foods, so Shes known for getting poopies in the crate even when Shes only been in for an hour. This crate is so insanely easy to clean out of. You can pull out the trays and the bars are wide, so they are easier to clean off than the wire crates that are so popular. When she was little, she had an issue with pawing at the door of her old wire crate and that sometimes would hurt her paws. Not this crate though, she paws at it sometimes and never has had an injury. I never use the feature of the top being openable unless I'm cleaning her crate, but when I need it, it is really helpful. Be prepared for how heavy and huge this crate is. It took me a moment to put together by myself cause i was scared of hurting my hands for how heavy duty it is. Overall: It's amazing and I highly recommend
