YuanLey 8 Port Gigabit PoE Switch, 8 PoE+ Port 1000Mbps, 120W 802.3af/at, Metal Fanless Unmanaged Plug and Play

This is a great PoE switch at a good price and works very well. I will give it 5 stars for now, but the real test will be how long it will last. I will update this if there are any future problems.

I’m using this to power SIP ‘phones in a nursery. The power draw is well within the port rating of this switch and it is performing well at the moment. Currently have seven ‘phones attached.Switch is very light and I can’t comment on its sturdiness at this stage. This one will have a relatively easy life on a shelf in a wiring cabinet.

Plugged in. Nothing. Luckily I had another power cord which powered it up. Plugged in a poe camera.and it worked.Instructions don't march product and are woefully poor at best. To sum up I would buy a better brand next time.

I need it quickly. I needed it to do the job. I wanted to pay a fair price. The seller met all these requirements. What more could you ask for.

I have had this YuanLey 8-port PoE switch installed for about 3 weeks now. It is connected to four Hikvision 8mp (4k) IP cameras, a Zyxel wifi (PoE powered) access point and a Netgear 105PE (PoE powered) switch connected about 75m distant. Since installation this YuanLey switch has worked perfectly. The case is of all metal construction with wall mounting cut-outs. Mine is mounted vertically on a wall. It has an IEC socket (kettle lead) on back for mains power (so much better than an external wall wart).Importantly, there is no partitioning of network traffic to an uplink port (unlike some PoE switched do). All ports are equal.The one thing I don't like is that the port status lights (which show the current port speed) are below the RJ45 connector so in my configuration with the switch mounted vertically on a wall, the port lights are difficult to see unless the cables are lifted out of the way - see one of my pics. But this is a very minor annoyance.A very good product at a reasonable price. Pleased with my purchase and would definitely buy again!

Excellent product for the money.

There are no brackets that will enable this to be fitted to a standard 19" rack. The manufacturer (when asked) suggested that I buy two and connect them together with the ears supplied and then they might fit (!!)This is fairly blatant misleading or false product information since if it states "Rack Mounted" most people would believe, quite reasonably, that it can be mounted in a standard rack. It cannot and needs additional kit that the manufacturer does not even supply from what I gather with conversations with them.I'm about to try to build my own adaptors to make this work, but will be returning for a refund if I can't.

Had a small issue with an electrical whine, otherwise the switch works exactly as described powering two Ruckus AP’s around my house and a number of other units.I contacted Yuanley Support about the noise and they promptly offered to refund me for a replacement unit. Would recommend!
