Excellent rails... hardware sucks
These rails are very nice but the included allen screws were not even close to spec...The included wrench slipped on almost all the screws as soon as they started to get tight...so I grabbed my allen wrenches and started trying sae and metric but it was the same thing...Well I grabbed a wrench that was slightly bigger and used a little hammer to knock it into the screw snugly and proceeded to tighten them like this one by one...If you don't have a bigger wrench and a little hammer to seat it into the screw you will be very pis**d...or you could take a dremel and make the screw slotted...I should have done this because if I want to remove them I will have to find the over sized wrench again to remove them...I consider this to be an extremely bad oversight by the manufacturer but like I said...the rails seem very nice...I'm pretty handy so things like this don't usually stop me but if I was less handy and was left with what they provided I would have felt very bad and then would have had to go to the hardware store to match something up...I would still recommend them if you feel like making a slot or using an over sized allen wrench, especially if you order 3 packs like I did...I got them on super saver along with some other stuff and saved money...so I'm still smiling...I had the same problem with all three packs...there were 5 screws in each pack...to think they were careful enough to give me an extra screw and the slots weren't even sized right...Duh!...The first screw went right in making me think this is great and then it was like what...huh...oh man...I have mounted two packs so far...I will probably order more once I build up my super saver list...I also mounted them into wood and plastic...both seated nicely by drilling a slightly smaller hole and then letting the screw carry itself in...The screws weren't wood or plastic screws but if you keep the hole just a little bit smaller they will seat fine...no extra money, no hardware store and not too much hassle...Edit-1-20-13 I am not going to re-order these even though they are cheap because I really don't feel like the hassle of dealing with a slipping allen wrench. And also if I go to remove them it is going to be a hassle.

Mini 14 Rail Upgrade
I purchased these rails to install on my wood stock blued mini 14 fore-grip just behind the gas block. Have to say, it's very well made. They feel very durable. I gave this product five stars purely on their cost and quality of construction, not taking into consideration the screws and included allen wrench, which I didn't use. Since I was not installing it on an ar-15, or such the like, with dedicated gaurds to attach rails, I knew I would have to provide my own mounting hardware, since the biggest complaint against the stock mini 14 is that they don't provide any picatinny rails or areas for their attachments. So the complaint most people have against this product not having the necessary mounting plates or that the allen wrench is just a little too small for the bolt head didn't really apply to me. I supplied my own tee nuts and stainless steel machine screws, drilled and countersunk the tee nut head into the fore- grip to provide a place to mount to, and fashioned a dense foam tape gasket between the fore-grip and rail because the fore-grip isn't exactly flat or square and the foam provided a surface to tighten the rail to which would conform to the two surfaces and prevent the rail from marring the stocks finish. As a cabinet maker, I found this project rather simple to perform and it came out with a very quality and attractive product. After searching the net for anyone who had done this, and finding none, I decided to design it myself. I am very pleased with it. If you would like to see photos of how it came out, please feel free to respond to this response and I'll supply you with detailed pictures and plans for installing a picattiny rail on the bottom of your mini 14 to mount a bipod and tactical flashlight or laser, or whatever you would desire.

NOT A FAN OF SNOBS that have not used
This stuff is NOT all airsoft and I recommend you visit the company and understand the difference between the two arms! I love leapers gear and there is PLENTY of product that stands up, NOT ALL, BUT MORE than many give them credit! SURE, people can CLAIM different, but, put your collection and ability against mine, and lets see. FOR SURE I LOVE MY BIG BRANDS for some things, but there are MANY items I DO USE and use on real guns that are made for such. True strength, magnifiers and many accessories have stood up to 6 4 of 230+ in the woods, in the wars and in just fun and I cant say that for all supposed MILSPEC kit...OVER THAT TERM, AND TACTICAL, as nothing is anymore tactical sitting in your safe or apartment, than I am a porn star simply because I have a dick! Use it, prove it or disprove it, but don't TALK s***, too many are out there doing JUST that, and I give everyone their due, until they prove me wrong! THESE WORKED VERY WELL! AND STILL BEING USED and with loctite, I have beat the heck out of them mounted, and no loss, no breakage and no problems, at least with these. I HAVE seen some items with a difference in fit, but my high end mounts etc, have adjustability and THESE WORK FOR ME AS WE SPEAK!

Buy these rails, throw away the screws.
These rails are inexpensive and sturdy. The package contained two rails. 5 screws (I think) two threaded plates to secure the rails to a hand guard and an Allen wrench. Do yourself a favor. Toss the screws and Allen wrench, and go to the hardware store and buy new screws, If you want ,maybe some nuts. Loctite is an option. The screws suck. The heads stripped out when applying torque and the edges of the Allen wrench rounded over. Otherwise I am pleased with the purchase. I only used one rail to secure a bi pod. I mentioned Loctite. I used it just in case. It would be embarrassing to have my bi pod fall off. Nobody wants that.

Ottimo prodotto.

Servizio: perfetto.
