Dupli-Color BCP100 Brake Caliper Spray Paint - Red - 12 oz. Aerosol Can

This came out beautifully. Installed this on my radiator guard for my bike. It’ll fit the 2007-2012 Cbr600rr I was looking at all brands (Rustoleum, VHT, Krylon) but the spray paints weren’t red they were like a clown orange color. So I took the chance & got this one & it came out amazing, I did 4 coats & they are super easy to spray & dries in 15-30 mins. After I was finished with everything I just let it sit overnight to fully cure & I was all done, my suggestion never do spray paint jobs outdoors, there is too much wind & want to be in a controlled environment. Also u might wonder why the cbr logo is red, it’s because while I was spraying I just told myself eh, I rather leave it incase people decide to look there, so I put tape over it, but I’m not too worried, it’ll be covered by the front wheel anyway. Also on the top left there is a bit of a droplet but is barely visible until u really see it. Also there is no crumbling or anything like that. I DID NOT PREP OR DO ANYTHING JUST SIMPLY SPRAY PAINTED & THATS & for what it is, it came out nice, but keep in mind this is a radiator guard so I didn’t put in too much effort into something that would barely be visible (literally)

Very impressed with this paint so far, I painted my calipers about a month ago and the paint is holding strong and staying very clean and bright. Sprays like a very high quality paint and goes on thick and dries very hard.

Awesome results on the front brakes of my 2015 Honda Fit LX 6-sp. The key is getting it right by properly prepping the calipers to be sprayed. Lucky for me, the vehicle was brand new and minor spraying of brake cleaner removed any accumulated grease and oil. Didn't bother to remove the caliper. Carefully used masking tape to cover areas to prevent unwanted "over-spray". The result is a smooth, factory looking caliper. Have had people comment how much more I had to pay as they thought it was a factory option upgrade!!!! Apply a minimum of 2 coats and follow the instructions for distance to prevent any paint drips or teardrops. Did 2 front calipers and there's enough left in the can for one coat on 2 more (the Fit has drum rears). Amazon priced it right and shipped fast. UPDATE: With the left-over paint was able to color the front and rear calipers on the wife's '14 MB G550. Prep work is the key. Put on 2 coats and even the Service techs at the local dealership find the results amazing! The painted calipers on the Honda Fit have been on 8 months and continue to look like new. No chipping, fading but note that Japanese vehicles have minimal brake dust compared to German brands. Curious to see how these hold up on our MBenz.

Be sure to read the directions before use. Have plenty of time to allow the paint to cure. I let them sit for 7 days to make sure it was cured. When it is cured it is like iron. You will love it. Make sure you use a good brake caliper cleaner one day before the first coat of paint. You want to get all the brake dust off before painting. This is one great product!
