The saga continues
Though I found Project 731 to be slightly (and I mean very, very slightly) better, Project Hyperion, is by no means a horrible read. Jeremy Robinson continues to up the ante in this series and each successive novel only manages to raise the bar in both scope and story. In Project Hyperion Robinson once again manages to keep the action flowing and the storyline going, only this time, everything is bigger, badder, and far more bad ass. Yes, Nemesis is still here, as are all the main characters and set pieces, but the additions of more Kaiju and more high-tech gizmos, and even greater destruction make this book impossible to put down. I mean, what other novels contain giant, inter-demensional traveling, transformer/Gundam wing-styled, robots, created by aliens to protect their species? What other series not only gives huge, city destroying monsters, but also manages to instill emotions and a past that make the readers root for them? And what other author has crafted a saga of books that keeps moving along, but at the same time, builds a plot with enough twists and turns, and a storyline that gets bigger and bolder and more epic with each successive volume?Quite simply, Robinson has struck gold with this Project series. Kaiju, in and of themselves, are nothing new or original, however Robinson has made them his own, given them a reason for existing, and for his fans to keep reading about them. Unlike many authors out there who seem to write just for a paycheck, there's an obvious sense of enjoyment in Robinson's work. He has fun when he writes, and he writes because he likes to do it. And, most important of all, he writes for his fans. Aside from that, he still pushes out multiple books a year, each one original and highly entertaining, usually containing enough easter eggs and reoccurring characters to show just how intelligent and creative of an author he really is.

Not yo Mama's Godzilla
This is a stand alone novel but is best if you dart with the first Nemesis book. Every monster you meet might not be your enemy by its hard to tell. Mr. Robinson red shirts so many all written people it feels like a trademark. Right when you think someone is going to make it they get eaten or crushed by a building in collateral damage from a monster invasion. These monsters may have a human assimilated brain or may be driven by Aliens. How cool is that these big ass monsters have an alien in them! Plus the little girl with super strength is able to drive a giant robot as a super protector of the planet. Have fun reading this one.

POWERFUL KAIJU FUN!
The human race faces the greatest challenge...beware of monsters!!! The continuing threat of giant monsters leads Hudson and his team to face the most powerful enemy imaginable with the aide of the least desirable help.

... comes to suspension of disbelief - nobody does it better than Jeremy Robinson
When it comes to suspension of disbelief - nobody does it better than Jeremy Robinson. Amazing mind-blowing, characters and incredible non-stop action will keep you up reading to the wee hours! If you haven't read Robinson before - you're in for a real treat. All his books are stand alone good - but I would suggest reading the Kaiju Thriller series in order so you follow the development of the characters and the evolution/progression of the amazing Kaiju monsters. His Kaiju Thrillers have inspired artists from around the world to interpret & draw their own versions of his mysterious, magical, maniacal monsters and also inspired the creation of his own Kaiju comic books - I just don't understand why Hollywood isn't beating down his door to bring his creature creations to the big screen. Godzilla wouldn't stand a chance against Nemesis and also pales by comparison. Japan can keep Godzilla - America now has Nemesis who needs her own movie series.

Very well done...
I eagerly awaited the release of this book from the moment I found out it existed. Once again we get to dive into the world created by the author and see more Nemesis, Lilly and Maigo butt kicking action. The FC-P is back full force, except this time we've got giant robots! The kid in me who has loved all things Godzilla since he was 3 years old wouldn't let me put this book down. I read it in one sitting and have started reading it again. I have to admit that back in the previous book when we discovered the idea of the Aeros and Ferox alien races I rolled my eyes a bit and thought that was the beginning of the downfall of this series. However, Robinson manages to masterfully integrate the alien aspect of all of this into the story and I actually can't wait to see where it all goes. This guys stories are heads above the other kaiju writers out there right now imho.

A high point for both the series and the writer himself
I read Project Nemesis a few years ago and fell in love with it. It quickly became my favorite book. I've enjoyed the sequels and other books from Mr. Robinson, but I have to say that Project Hyperion was an amazing story. The book gives us about 3 different stories that all blend together really well at the end. This book has humor, action, great character development for the series, and does a wonderful job setting up something bigger for those who want to get into other novels, while also covering bases really well if you haven't read the earlier books. This book is a fantastic thrill ride from start to finish. It's a well written novel, and it comes with a lot of great extras including an art gallery and even a sneak peek at the Nemesis comic book. Do yourself a favor and don't miss this title.

Keeps the story moving forward
I think this book is a good read, my only comment is it feels very transitional from the concepts of the first three books and what seems to be coming next. The beloved characters are b.s. K, and I especially appreciate how Robinson unrequited and contemporary humor.

Project Hyperion
even before reading this, I knew that this was leading up to the big crossover event that Jeremy has planned, and the seeds for that are sown in this novel. these books just continue to get better and better and this time a giant mech called Hyperion is added to the mix. fans of Kaiju however will not be disappointed. not only are we introduced to 2 new ones called Lovecraft and Giger, influenced by H. P Lovecraft's Chuthalu and H.R Gigers Alien, but 3 from a previous novel in the series also make a return. all that plus Hyperion and Nemesis make this the best one in the series yet.Jeremy loves peppering his novels with pop culture references, this series in particular, and fans of Doctor Who and The Six Million Dollar Man will get a kick out of this book, as will American wrestling fans, although I do have a bone to pick with the author, its WWE Jeremy, not WWF lol. there was a nice surprise at the end with the appearance by a character from one of his other novels, which nicely sets up that crossover I mentioned, not to mention the next book in the series, Project Legion which quite frankly can't get here quick enough.

I'm hooked, I'll keep reading them as long as he keeps writing them
More of the same from Jeremy Robinson. If you liked the other books in the series or his works, you'll like this. And if you're looking for a good Kaiju series? This is your jam.

The battle before the war
Before I review this fourth instalment of the Nemesis series I need to outline that although I loved the first two books I found the third to be a bit of a let down in comparison. What a difference I found to this fourth book though! I could not put it down and loved every moment of it!There were some excellent twists in the plot that I did not expect to come across have kept the story lively and fresh to the extent I cannot wait until the fifth book. This is essentially the battle before the war and is executed brilliantly. Some returning kaiju from previous books and even a couple new ones as well as a robot. I was very dubious about introducing a robot into the story but it actually slots in perfectly.
