Fits fine on a normal human adult
Oh my I love reading reviews; I 100% appreciate them ALL. So here ya go: I am an adult Male, 5’9” 170lbs semi-athletic build. Some reviews said that these boot toppers do not fit adults and that they are for children only. As your can see in the picture they fit just fine. So at this point you can eliminate over half the reviews. Occasionally for a photograph I would have to pull them up over my knees or while playing beer pong. For the most part they stayed at the middle of my knees. If I had a little more meat on my bones I’d bet they’d be perfect. I have a size 13 foot so I didn’t expect the boot topper portion to cover much, and they didn’t, so I wore black tennis shoes. It was dark anyway. There is an elastic band to help keep the boot topper over your shoes. Pull that down around your shoe and not around your foot inside the shoe, this will help cover some of your shoe at least. I bet this would work great on someone with small feet. Also, some said that it wouldn’t go over their boots; I don’t think that was the intention. There is no way this product is stretching over any part of any boot. This IS the boot. Get you some red shoes and off you go. The material seems tough, it is comfortable and not itchy, maybe that’s because I shaved my gorilla legs. Without these boot toppers, my outfit would have been a bust. They made the outfit pop for sure and I got rave reviews. Side note, I purchased the boot toppers, tiara, truth lasso, and cape separately from the original Wonder Woman costume.

I like
These are made out of the same material as liquid leather, you know the material that looks like shiny leather but is not, I think it's called lame. And because it is made of this material there is some stretch to it. It does not fit over the whole top of my shoes, it seems to just lay on top of it. But they do stay up on my calf. I am 65" tall and 160 lbs.

Too small for size 11 shoes.
The product is nice but way too small for the size of my feet. I’m 6’1 with size 10/11 feet. I’d probably have to cut it to make it work and I don’t feel like doing all of that, so I’m returning.

Decent for costume party
Didn't like that the fronts of these wouldn't stay on my shoes and the elastic was installed incorrectly. It's entirely too loose and doesn't actually hold the boot covers down onto shoes. The design needs 2 smaller pieces of elastic in the front and back with velcro to be able adjust them. These stretch a little. Don't pull them up too hard or they will RUN! MINE DID. The material is ok and was soft against the skin.Good buy to a point. They worked for me.

Good concept, terrible execution
No, they will not fit over your shoes. No, they will not stay up.I figured out a workaround for the fact they wouldn’t fit over my shoes and actually wore them with a red pair of flats upon which I painted a white stripe to match the product. However, the staying up part has no solution. It does not matter what size your legs are there is just no reinforcement and no way gravity isn’t going to win. You will find them in a big bunch around your ankles.

I readjusted the strap that goes under the foot.
They are comfortable and looked good. I had to cut the straps that hold them down and make them tighter to stay over my shoe. I wish I would have added the leftover to the toe because I had trouble keeping the toe down over my shoe all night.

Be very careful about which boots you have!
These are sold as boot covers. I own three pairs of boots I spent more than 15 minutes trying to get the boot cover onto my preferred pair of boots. It literally wouldn't go on. The seam around the ankle is small - it fits my ankle, not my stiff boot. After that failed effort, I looked at my second pair of boots - even wider at the ankle than the first - and didn't even try. My third pair of boots had a completely flimsy leg. I was able to twist it smaller and get the boot top onto the boot. (Note: You have to put the ankle seam in the right place on the boot, THEN put your boot on, THEN pull up the top section of the boot cover.) I got my leg inside the boot and boot cover. It is very tight on me and won't slip around. I'm 5'6 with regular width calves, 210 pounds. Next I tried to put the shoe part over my shoe. This was laughable. I wear size 10 womens shoes. When I held the foot part over my shoe, it stretched only a few inches and left two inches totally uncovered at the end of my boot. I spent 40 minutes trying to make the shoe part work on a single boot. Even stretched the very farthest I could force the shoe part, it only barely covered the top of my toe, leaving the inch-tall base of my boot (what's that called?) and a bit above that base uncovered. Essentially, the ankle seam is so small that you probably won't be able to get it over your boot, the leg part is so tight that a regular boot won't fit with your leg under the top, and the foot part barely covered the top surface of the boot. Just be careful before you buy this. Make sure you have a boot that might actually work, because most won't. I was lucky I had the floppy boot.I haven't even worn it, but it's clear I won't be able to wear it with boots. I plan to wear it with a pair of flats The leg part is tight enough that it'll stay up without a boot supporting it, which is fine with me. We'll see how it goes. I gave it two stars because I am grateful that the product exists, even if it's not designed well for its function (a boot topper).
