Great product, works awesome
This water pic is great, it has different power settings and it come with 2 types of tips (one tip type has a double for a total of 3 tips). I only use the water jet and not the gum line tip. If you have regular teeth and don't need anything special then one tip is all you need. Give it a week and you will get the hang of using it bc the 1st week I made a big mess with the water jet, It can be tricky to control and not get all the counter and mirror wet, but once you get the hang of it, the device is very handy and works great, better than the phillips sonic care airfloss (in my opinion) bc I like the continuos jet of water that you can feel cleaning. I use it every day at night before brushing my teeth, all the food particles fall right out. If you have dental pockets or hard to reach places this will clean and make your breath fresher. The 1st week can be tough and your gums will most likely bleed especially if you do not floss on the regular. Just start at the lowest setting and work your way up to a setting that is comfortable. The kit comes with 2 cups one for water and the other if you need to measure out medicine or any other type of liquid that requires dilution. I use mouthwash in the smaller cup and peroxide with water once a week in the large cup. The only issue that I don't like is that it can be a little loud where using it.

High water volume water flosser. Going strong at 2 years.
I really like my Waterpik. I've had it about two years and it is still going strong. A water flosser shouldn't replace traditional flossing but it does give you a deep down clean feeling that I had only experienced at the dentist prior to water flossing. It has a couple nice features that I would like to point out. The Waterpik Professional Water flosser comes assembled in the box with three nozzles. There is space to store four nozzles in the front of the base. The reservoir can hold 1000 mL of water and doubles as a dust cover by turning it over. The cord on the handle is generous. The handle attaches to the base by sliding into a molded hole in the base. There is a knob that switch on the left side of the base that turns the pump on and off (binary). There is a six setting slide switch on the handle that controls the volume of water flow from low to high. The tubing that attaches to the handle has memory in it and quickly and neatly coils up and stores inside the base when not in use which makes it a welcome aesthetic addition to my bathroom counter. There is no built in timer which pauses or stops the waterflow. 1000 mL of water is pumped out over two minutes so you don't have to refill it during a flossing session. The water pressure at this speed is very high (you can squirt someone 20 feet away if you want to). I cannot use the highest two speeds comfortably. The Waterpik water flosser is easy to use. First I fill the reservoir which detaches from the base so you can fill it under the faucet, put the nozzle in my mouth, turn on the pump with the switch on the base, and set the speed with the switch on the handle. I let the water flow out of my mouth into the sink. One you get used to it, there is no water spray or mess when using it. Summary: The Waterpik has a water flow rate of 500 mL per minute at its highest setting. The Waterpik comes with three nozzles. Replacement Waterpik nozzles are readily purchasable. The Waterpik's reservoir holds 1000 mL. The Waterpik has six articulated settings that you set on the handle. Reservoir doubles as a dust cover. Great product!
I don't understand all the negative reviews of leakage, strength being temperamental, and noise level. After using machine for 3 months, I haven't experienced any of these negativities that others have written about. I use my waterpik 2 times daily every day and haven't experienced anything close to what others have complained of. IMHO, the Waterpik was the best investment in getting my oral health back on track in terms of really helping out my gum health. Since starting to use it 2x daily every day I have seen a real difference in the color of my gums turning from red and inflamed to more of a pink and healthy color, the bleeding has totally stopped, and gum sensitivity has steadily been decreasing. Even when I use regular string floss, I have noticed that there is less of a chance of bleeding, whereas before I would without a doubt always have bleeding that happened when flossing. After using this for the past 3 months, I have become almost addicted to the dentist-like clean feeling after each waterpik/brush session. After using both the waterpik and an electric toothbrush, I can walk away feeling almost as though I have just had a dental cleaning; it feels that much more clean than just brushing alone! It took me only a few times to start working up as to which power setting I wanted to use. After about 3 weeks I found myself using 4th power setting on a regular basis with no discomfort. I am starting to use 5th power setting on a more regular basis now, but not steadily. Hope to get to 5th power setting regularly in another week or 2. Machine is quieter than an older model I owned about 7 or 8 years ago, so they have made an improvement on quietness. I live in an older apartment complex where walls are thin and I haven't had any complaints from neighbors about me using the machine, so I wouldn't be too concerned about it being too loud for a small apartment bathroom such as mine that butts up next to your neighbors. Will give update after using it several more months to let you know if real problems start to appear. Overall, very happy with the machine and it's build quality overall! Would recommend to anyone looking to improve their oral health!
