I had initially bought inkjet printer for $60. It didn't satisfy my need. Then, I did a thorough research about printers based on price, quality of print, design of the printer and replacement toner price. I've learned that laser printer toner may be more expensive but it is more cost effective. It prints more pages compared to inkjet.This printer has it all. It satisfied all my criteria for my home office. I print documents for my work and worksheets for my son's school. I frequently print photos and cards as well. It is so convenient to print using blue tooth, printer is always on ready to print mode (don't have to wait for printer to warm up), ink doesn't smear when I use highlighter on documents and printing speed is excellent. It feels so luxurious jumping to this printer from an inkjet printer. I highly recommend investing on this printer if your budget allows!Pros: high quality prints, replacement toner price, good design, compact, quiet, ready to print mode, good investmentCons: heavy (carrying it upstairs was a bit of a workout for me)

We have a small business and have the need from time to time to print color copies and printouts for various things - mostly artistic in nature. We've used many color lasers over the years, mostly Lexmark, and have always been "so so" with the results.With this HP printer, though, wow, we are impressed. Using Epson Bright laser paper, we get crisp, vibrant prints every time. Plus, we love the fact that HP adheres to the PS and PCL standards. For doing artistic prints, we couldn't ask for anything better - and for more true colors.It has a quick print time, can do double sided too. It's just a plain printer - which is what we want. We were tired of the all-in-one units that did none of the functions well! It does weigh a bit, so be prepared to use a little muscle when you unpack it.

This is a good printer for home use or small business. The print quality is good as well as the printing speed. The only short fall is the setup. I've experienced wifi issues with the printer staying connected, but by the magical Gods of printing, that issue was short lived. It has decent speed, and the print quality is good. The overall weight isn't all that bad either. Being that it's compact in size, this printer has no problem fitting into tight spaces or requires very little space for use. I've owned this printer for about a year now (2023 purchase) with only the connection issue in the beginning, since then, I've had no issues. For the cost and being on a budget, I would recommend the printer.

I admit, I was concerned about ordering the factory certified refurbished LaserJet M255dw printer. I shouldn't have worried. It was packaged extremely well. (I am very thankful for that considering it went on a detour to another State after it arrived at the hub 1 hour away!) Unpacking was easy. They even had a sheet on the top indicating where to pull. The toner cartridges were already installed. (I don't know if they are the introductory size.) Included paperwork was very basic. If you need help with installing or maintenance, you need to go to HP web site. Initial start-up was VERY noisy and clunky, but it seems to print fine now and is much more quiet. Connecting to wireless network went smooth. Adding the M255dw to one Win10 Pro Upgrade & one Win10 Home Upgrade computers was extremely simple, as well as adding the M255dw to an iMac. Adding the M255dw to a Win10 Pro ThinkPad was a nightmare. It refused to install drivers no matter what connection method I used, or the HP install & troubleshooting apps. I had to resort installing the Universal Print PCL 6 driver on that laptop. The color print quality is very nice and the manual sheet feed tray worked well even on a small envelope.FOLLOW-UP: This printer would go OFFLINE on all the Windows-related computers whether connected via Wireless or ethernet cable. Reinstalling would not resolve the problem. The Mac using AirPrint was fine. THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH MANY PRINTERS. Once I manually changed the printer settings to use Google DNS Servers, the problems were resolved.
